Really awesome grooves. I recently just got my first drum machine, a used Tr-8, the bright green one. I have been considering an SP-404 because it looks like such a fun combo. I think this vodeo conviced me. Looks like they play well together.

Hello Sir,
can you axplain, what settings you just used? I tried everything the user manuals told me to do, but my syncing won't work.
I connected the tr8s trigger out with the sp404mk2 midi in via patch cable. I have set the trigger output on tr8s with pressing cc and rc button. I have my midi sync settings on the sp404mk2 set on midi and when i press samples i have the bpm sync button lit up.
Still nothing is syncing :D

You are using the sp404 to trigger different tr-8s pattern ?

No. I used one tr8s pattern with 8 variations (manually changed). The midi cable went from the tr8s to the so to sync it and start the first sp 404 pattern at the same time
