MFDA Public-Private Partnerships 101

The FM Area Diversion project is using a public-private partnership (P3) to design, finance, construct, operate and maintain many components, such as the 30-mile stormwater diversion channel and first-of-their-kind heated aqueducts. It's the first P3 water management project in North America, so the concept may not be familiar.
