- Here I play the incredible 'Jerry's Breakdown', composed by great Jerry Reed and made famous by Chet Atkins. This piece is renown within the world of fingerstyle guitar for its creative compositional ideas and it's difficulty. Now, the piece lives on through equally great players like Tommy Emmanuel, Emil Ernebro, Richard Smith and more. I wish I could have asked Jerry how he came up with the idea. I hope you enjoy this video.

Excellent. Get a tour together!
Thanks Rick! There are more tours in the works, right now I’m preparing my next record.
Do you offer online courses/lessons live?
Hey Chris, thank for you commenting. I have a lot of free lessons here on my UA-cam channel, I also have a Patreon, where you have unlimited access to all the tabs/lesson resources and some other things. I also occasionally do live streams where I teach also. Warm regards from Basel!
whoooooooo
So good to hear from you Abel! You headed to winter camp?
@@ZarekSilberschmidt Don't think so mate. It's getting too pricey these days and I'm not playing much gypsy jazz these days. I'm now mostly into avant-garde and interdisciplinarity. But who knows, maybe I'll join a jam and cycle back and forth for one evening if the weather is not too tough (13 km from where I live). Cheers!
Is this playable on banjo
It sure is, I think that banjo playing was where the idea came from for this tune. ☺️
cool

Sorry but too FAST and not enough "nuance" in the rhythm -- sounds like a computer playing.
You are right! I’m actually A.I generated!
