*Finally*! AN ACTOR THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE JFK!
DesignzRUs1 Ikr! and I loooooveee ur prof pic
But definitely she doesn't look like Jackie at all :/
YESSSS
ACTUALLY, I thought he was way too short, and Bobby was way too tall.
DesignzRUs1 brad Pitt looks A lot like JFK.
spoiler alert I die
Mind blowing.
John F. Kennedy Wtf! I haven't seen it yet jerk!
John F. Kennedy wait, then wtf you are?
John F. Kennedy omg why would you spoil it! now I'm not going to watch.
Man, fucking JFK! Wth would you do that??
She could win an Oscar just from this trailer alone.
Ummmm, no. It takes far more that a few good takes (nyuk nyuk) pasted together into a trailer to warrant that honor.
Numinous- What if they paste it together with the "Black Swan" trailer?
hahahha
Matt Little she's incredible, but Portman ass kissing is crazy high.
Hi Baby- She is of the chosen few that could survive the past shame and infamy of the Star Wars Prequels. Liam Nielson is the most badass though.
Damn just I remembered he was in "Schindler's List" and some how I want to make a joke about the Prequels and a certain event in the past. I just can't recall the name of it...
H. W. I personally really liked Episode III. Many very significant things occurred that were great to see.
Damn, this movie is gonna put in way more perspective that no, not just our president was assassinated, but Her husband was murdered right in front of her, sitting beside her. Shit is fucked.
Hi
Justin Soo
Hey
*****
Yeahh! I recently just found out about that! Like, I can't even imagine the state of shock she must've been in at that very moment. Fuck whoever be talkin shit about this tortured woman.
*****
Damn, that's so tight! I'll admit, I don't know a whole lot about her, but I think that's what this movie's supposed to do. To actually inform the more people, like me, more on what she went through and had to overcome post assassination. And of course a woman, especially in her situation, in that time doing things like taking charge wouldn't sit well with people.. Ugh, which I bet are the same people who couldn't possibly understand what she went through.
*****
Yes, that's a damn strong family lineage.
The way she can subtly express complex emotions with just a glance is hypnotizing. I smell an Oscaaarrrrr
Binary Void Well she will have to compete with Emma Stone in La La Land.
The Cinematic Mind nah think she's a lock for best actress, old academy dudes love biographic movies
Sterling But Old Academy Dudes also love any film musical. Don't get me wrong Natalie Portman's performance from the trailers alone is extraordinary.
oh you mean grief confusion and pain?! weird considering its a film about a loss of a husband who happens to be president...i also would urge you to re watch the trailer as i think you might have missed a few other expressions!
Binary Void this looks like movie version of Lana's song, National Anthem.
can't believe natalie portman didn't get the oscar for this. this is so much more of a challenging role than emma stone playing an archetypal girl going to chase her dreams of becoming an actress in LA and falling in love.
I enjoyed la la land, but come on.
Agree Agree!!!!!
Cause she isn't an American.Oscar has become fake now...so Natalie portman's performance is beyond oscar..As a audience you can feel it at least..so i think It's her great achievement not only her but also every successful star's achievement.
100% agreed! She as Jackie is simply... Can't find words for that. Haunting performance that sent shiver down my spine the first time I saw it
@@mkshahriaranik939 she won an oscar for her role in Black Swan. She has also won 2 golden globe awards, a BAFTA award and a SAG award. She did amazing in Jackie but in no way was she shunned for her not being American as you said.
@@freespiritxoxo7343 I know about her career & shut up..It's true nowadays bad things happen In Oscar. But I have said it's bitter truth.why Don't you just look at Alicia Vikandar when she was about to get oscar but she didn't get(fot lead Actress) American racist Brie Larson get but Alicia's performance was outstanding than Brie...but Oscar jury is so clever they give oscar both of them but it was unfair.
omg the actor looks exactly like JFK great choice
actually, he was way too short, and Bobby was way too tall
great cast and great actors! one of the best movie in 2016 i adore historical movies and i'm happy that i found it when i used boxxy software and watched it for free
Not tall enough at all
This guy looks exactly like JFK HOLY SHIT!
blackopsfan00 scary af
blackopsfan00 who is he?
Kristina Savic Caspar Phillipson
go see it in a cinema or buy the dvd Injustice!
JFK didn't have protruding bats ears like this actor has.
chills watching the trailer
bignoknow - Hey! Good channel. Take care.

Here it is a list of Pablo Larraín's filmography:
ua-cam.com/play/PL3bN3qL-ZFiFyEFDlwPVeNG76zIqGlGsg.html
same oh my god
The actor looks too much like JFK. It's like they resurrected him to play in this movie.
And you look so exactly like Tom Baker (Doctor Who) playing Rasputin that you've quite unnerved me.
Wаtсh Jackiе online in hd quаlity hеre => twitter.com/6b6866d4cad7fc3a7/status/801983893410717697 JАCКIЕ OFFICIАL TRAAILЕR FOХ Seаrchlight
Ger Unkwon who played him?
Caspar Phillipson does a good job. JFK was so documented in photos & film and known in the minds of people that it is always tough to find any actor comparable in looks and personality to play that role. I still think William Devane came the closest in "Missiles of October."
It's actually a Danish actor
She's SO DAMN GOOD in this movie. Holy smokes.
Lana del Rey should sing for this Movie
She already did 4 years ago. the song is called *National Anthem*
Henry Phillips exactly lol
Kal08 OMG YAS
She was going to ruin the movie if she did
The swan song
Natalie Portman deserved the Oscar more than Emma Stone. She was brilliant as Jackie.
*Emma Stone deserved it in the favorite, and in birdman. But in that year Natalie Portman deserved it, both are great people and actresses. But oscar is bullshit, you should know that already.*
It didn’t work for me. Emma Stone portrayed a complexity of emotions on the journey for your dreams. She was amazing.
@fuck2016 Rachel was actually better than both Emma and Olivia in The Favourite
Yeah Jackie is a great character Joanne Whalley played her in a mini series too.
True
That accent shocked me. Didn't even know it was Natalie narrating until I saw her lips moving.
I think it's safe to say that she'll be taking the oscar for this one.
Nope.
+John Wesson Who do you think will win ?
John Wesson you think Emma Stone right? My pick is for sure Natalie for the Oscar
Mario Ibarra Mind Reader! I need to watch both films though. Have you already seen them at TIFF?
John Wesson wait for critics awards and major awards (of the season), the opinion of festivals and critics/organizations awards are differents
RIP to one of the most iconic and greatest presidents of all time
Yes, Reagan is missed every day....
Brootality Dawg he was the real MVP
He's only iconic because he got shot.
Jon Snew and that changes the substance or sincerity of the original comment, how again?
ashton collado Because the comment implies he was the greatest president of all time, when the only reason he's seen so is because he was martyred by the Democratic party to prop up the parties reputation e.g. Lyndon B. Johnson's victory.
The most depressing part is knowing that we used to elect presidents with intellect and class and now we have Trump. I wont see this movie because I am depressed enough.
Kennedy and Trump had much more in common than you might realize, and that is not a praise.
Don't mix his personal life with his presidency ^^
The movie looks really good, though.
Also, JFK was just as much of a womanizer as Trump. Probably more.
now thats a trailer

Now that's the proper way to hype. And Levi should at least be nominated for Original Score.
She'll definitely get the Oscar for this. I can tell.
I buy almost everything except food and clothing from online auctions sites .Most people aren’t aware of the almost unbelievable deals that they can get from online auction sites. The site that has the best deals is saveslam.com.
I checked with the BBB and was told that it is all legit. How they can sell gift cards, laptops, cameras, and all kinds of goodies that we all want for 50-90% off, I don’t know. I do know that I bought my son's an ipad there for less than $ 58 and my husband's a $250 Lowes gift cards for $48. Why would I even think about shopping anyplace else??....
It's quite ignorant for people to say this kind of comments when they don't even know who she'll be competing with, it's like saying you can tell right now who will win an olympic medal in 2020.
Daryl Oliveros I'll tell you. Phelps will return and win.. also Simone at gymnastics.. easy!
Emma stone won
CHAYIN PINEDA
Natalie is one example of true natural talent. She has been one of the best actresses in the world since she was a child, and has managed to stay at the top for so many years. I hope this will be her second Oscar. Simply beautiful.
Natural talent, sure. Maybe for like LeBron whom relies on freak athleticism. Natalie worked a million times harder than him for her life. Her portrayal wasn’t natural. It was meticulously researched by teams of experts, and her. Over and over again. More hard work than natural talent.
Well, there's no doubt Natalie will get an Oscar for this, I can't wait for this, It looks incredible.
Tiaan Engelbrecht |-/
edith.s
Tiaan Engelbrecht Actually there is. Don't forget about Viola Davis
Viola Davis is competing for best supporting actress so they could both win
Charlie Gregory viola was smart, like JHUD for Dreamgirls
Natalie Portman is gonna get an Oscar for this movie. Mark my words.
I heart Lyoko at the very least a nomination
And she would deserve it so much
Her or Emma Stone. Slight chance Benning.

It's how Jackie Kennedy actually talked. You can search UA-cam for audio on how Jackie sounds
I can smell an Oscar already!
Yep, Iconic white person biopic = Oscar!
The Crab & The Fish I'm tired of racist people like you!
Viola Davis looks like she could easily win won too for Fences, Denzel too.
Jack Robbins Viola Davis is campaigning for the Best Supporting Actress category, look it up.
Exactly. Film craftsmanship looks great. But why is this white lady getting her own biopic a random 40+ years later??
Sad she was snubbed the Oscar. She put on the best performance of the goddamn year.
You act like Emma for LaLa Land didn't win a Golden Globe, BAFTA and SAG before the Oscar. Yes, Portman won Critics Choice but didn't even win a Golden Globe for Drama where she didn't even face Emma in that category
Natalie Portman is one of the greatest actors of our time. And I still think she's underrated! This looks amazing!
Arnold Garcia I agree. I think she is wonderful.
The facts are not so true. The maid of Onassis (the man she married after the death of Kennedy) said that she was involved in the assassination of Onassis' son. And who knows what also applies to the unfortunate president of America at the time
I watched this movie as I was 5 months pregnant in 2017, by far the most realistic performance of a woman after losing her husband! Its was a shame she didn't get an Oscar for this!
Jackie had also recently lost a baby before JFK died too. So many complex emotions and Natalie did them beautifully.
I think the main reason Natalie didn't get it was A) She had won in 2010 for Black Swan B) While a lot of people thought she'd win GG for this, she lost to I believe Isabelle Huppert which was a major upset and took away a lot of momentum and also there were several critics who gave the film mixed reviews C) Emma Stone was very good in La La Land and many felt she herself was overlooked for Birdman in 2014.
The facts are not so true. The maid of Onassis (the man she married after the death of Kennedy) said that she was involved in the assassination of Onassis' son. And who knows what also applies to the unfortunate president of America at the time
@@IOANNISP-s2d This sounds so stupid - the Onassis family hated her gut so badly, so of course they said Jackie killed Aristotle’s son.

Mirnest_TV Me since The Professional
Damn! Just give her the Oscar.
rjay102 🍒😘
rjay102 agree she deserves one by now
She has one for Black Swan :)
If black people are starting riots because they aren't winning, they will never get off the couch. And I'm a black woman.
I think Jackie would be happy with this movie and how Natalie Portman portrayed her
this is going to be good
Allen Younge
Jackie O was such a strong african-american woman!
MarjoLaser Please tell me your joking.
She's black. Leave me alone.
The Real American i think most competent people know how this goes ...
Natalie not getting an Oscar for this will go down as one of the biggest mistakes in history
I agree. I think she is a "flat' actress. Not deep enough (and has the wrong body) to play Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
she deserves an oscar. her performance so literally amazing. her voice sounds so much like jackie herself.
Her voice and accent were very artificial and she seemed to be "acting". In other words, a good actor should blend naturally into the role. Her tone of voice, body and facial movements always seemed artificial, unnatural and forced. In my opinion, her approach was poor.
Emma Stone was fantastic in La La Land but I definitely think Nathalie Portman deserved the Oscar. Her performance gave me chills.
I love the director's use of the camera, it's a close-up to make us see things in an intimate way as if we're invited in and this effect is helped by the warm vintage coloring. I appreciate this effort because it's different from the symmetrical shoots that are usually favored in movies. Also, Natalie's interpretation is amazing.
The facts are not so true. The maid of Onassis (the man she married after the death of Kennedy) said that she was involved in the assassination of Onassis' son. And who knows what also applies to the unfortunate president of America at the time
My favorite actress!
Johnnybell S mine too
Johnnybell S like her since Star Wars episode 1
Johnnybell S I have liked her since The Professional.
As a fellow Chilean I really hope this movie puts Pablo Larrain (maybe the best Chilean director working today) on the mainstream map.
Sad that he's not making the Scarface remake anymore, hopefully this movie will open many more doors for him.
Scarface should be left alone for a bit... or maybe Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund should do it... they can give it the whole City of God vibe. I like Larrain but I don't think his style suits Scarface. He makes more intimate and psychological movies. Even though Scarface has those moments, I feel it is a lot more intense and even over the top.
Yo creo que fue para mejor que dejara el remake de Scarface, la verdad es que los remakes son terreno bien difícil incluso para buenos directores. /I think it was the best for Larrain to leave the Scarface remake project, afterall remake are quite difficult even for good directors.
Fuqua is directing the Scarface remake now, and if Magnificent Seven taught us something is, fuck the depth, vision and subtext of the story if he can put jokes and action sequences, Pablo would have put more depth in that story.
Darkhyron Too late, they're already doing it xd
Coming for that second Oscar.
i'm super excited to see it but are you really trying to tell me that it's more complex and demanding than her role in black swan?? i guess ill have to wait and see
Ryan Edmond Agreed!
Ryan Edmond swan was amazing
Yes, because she's playing a real person portraying a very famous event in world history. There comes a whole new series of challenges with that.
this looks 10 times harder to do than black swan
Ryan Edmond I just saw it and it's a masterpiece.. Natalie really did do Jackie justice. It was so good that in some scenes I thought it was actually Jaculyine Kennedy herself on the screen..
Nobody should ever touch this role again. Natalie Portman dominated this role.
I've seen "Jackie" and it was impressive. The film focuses about the wife of John F. Kennedy who lost her husband during the assassination in 1963. She seeks her point of view that she lost her husband, and she can't find a way to be happy just to be very emotional character whether she can be calm or do something to be okay. Natalie Portman done a great job for portraying as the true story of Jackie Kennedy. She captured her performance to be a depressing First Lady who seeks that her husband died and she made her acting very well done. The acting is very well done, the sequence done so well to be taken in the early 60's, and the movie is beyond dark and very gripping that it makes it shock of how did it happened. It's more of study biopic that can tell a story that should be more important. The director, Pablo Larraín did a impressive job for making his feature tribute of Jackie Kennedy, and I'm hoping that he will get an Oscar Nod and so does Natalie Portman who did a fantastic job. Overall, a very depressing biopic movie.
[100] 👍👍 ⭐
I think I'm obsessed with JFK assassination. (*Conspiracies)
Dont forget about the Texas Oilmen they had a hand in all of this as well!
IMO those same corrupted bankers who took the moeny that government gave them as a bail out? yea
It's already been proven many times over that Oswald was capable of shooting all three shots, and briskly walking at a pace where all official witnesses could have seen him. All three bullets have been accounted for. He was a Soviet sympathizing whack job, nothing more. Conspiracies are sexier, yes.. but sometimes the plain old truth is just that. The truth.
Steven Cramsie no chance anyone can make a shot so far away on a moving target and hit within 3 shots
same he is interesting to study (very good looking man too xD)
The moment someone finds out the song, please post it because it was soooo beautiful.
bump
I heard that it was filmed on actual film, is that correct?
ItsJustEddie More than likely... Many films still use film
Yes, 16mm.
Actually no. Films shooting on film are a rarity these days (hell, you can find the "whole" list here: motion.kodak.com/US/en/motion/Customers/Productions/default.htm), and it feels good when one pops up. TV even more of a rarity, Westworld shooting on 35mm is a godsend.
don't forget breaking bad too, especially since they used hand held cameras which is harder cause they basically have to reload the film every 4 minutes and we know how crazy braking bad was
Breaking Bad ended a few years ago, that's why I only mention Westworld.
And the Oscar goes too...
Anthony Samudio Linares I wish she win best actress
Rebecca Hall
Natalie Portman. Period.
Emma Stone
I love Viola but no... this is a landmark role here. On that strength alone, it would be a win.
This is the most beautifully put together trailer that I have seen in quite some time. It evokes so much emotion in just two and a half minutes. Definitely seeing this movie.
I was hoping it would cover her later years after John's death, including John Jr death and how much she had lost and went through. Jackie O Kennedy was a unique person who's life had so much pain that I'm just glad someone is doing a real depiction of it.
JFK Jr. died 5 years after Jackie's death.
I just saw this at the cinema. Go. Go and see it. The script is great. The soundtrack- I actually cried a few tears because this film is so well done. Easily one of the best of the year. Natalie deserves at least an Oscar nomination.
Mica Levi who did the incredible film score to Under the Skin is doing this film score. Nice!
Wow, the difference
I don't believe it is, I really want to find the song that's in the trailer too.
The drums could have been sampled from Levi's score but no, it's not a track from the film's soundtrack. I'd love to know where it came from, too.
my brothers cello teacher is micas mother!
Leon Tarkshina and best of all Levi is finally nominated for Best Original Score.
I'm guessing why some won't see it is bc they suspect it will be exploitive; not realizing - not believing this is a respectful piece of Art that Jackie and John deserve.
bro this is still insane that she didn’t win an oscar for this masterpiece
The fact that its 2021 and I'm still outraged she didn't win an Oscar for this performance. I know she already has an Oscar, but come on! she's genius in this.
Totally agree. The best performance of that year.
The facts are not so true. The maid of Onassis (the man she married after the death of Kennedy) said that she was involved in the assassination of Onassis' son. And who knows what also applies to the unfortunate president of America at the time
Just seen the movie last night and I loved it! Love Natalie's performance, the music and the Kodac cinematography.
Can we bring my boy John F. Kennedy back to life and make him president?
Marco C I wish that were possible
How especially relatable now since America is mourning
A great President being assassinated is a lot worse than an election that was decided fair and square. Didn't vote for Trump btw
Kiboolt iva un u m I movible e
You're comparing the assassination of a President by a far-left communist... To raging cry babies throwing a fit because their side lost in a democratic election? Trump is the duly-elected 45th President of the United States. If that bothers people, they can always move to North Korea. I hear their style of Democracy is just great over there.
The electoral college is the most democratic process we have. It's more democratic than the popular vote because it allows all states to be participants, and if the popular vote was the deciding factor than San Francisco and New York City would be dictating to the rest of the country who their leaders are. The electoral college will never be abolished.
Don't insult JFK by comparing his assassination to butthurt and whiney liberals that are destroying their own cities because they didn't get what they want. Shut up.
Fifty0ne this isn't a democracy it's a republic, if you paid attention in class you would know that. also these protesters are afraid. some attacked by trump supporters for being Muslim or Hispanic. this my friends is the power of fear, fear powered by the hatred of others
I'm excited to watch Lana Del Rey's new movie
what's the aspect ratio they're going to use for this film? I like it

Vincent Smith I just looked it up and you're right, good eye!

Can't wait to see this, Natalie Portman always takes her work seriously. This film looks draining, but I trust her that she will do this women justice.
we don't need to watch the movie to say that she is getting another Oscar.
Me encanta, y ver a una actriz como Natalie Portman es siempre un placer.

Natalie Portman nailed this one. I had seen so very many portrayals of these events but this was earth shattering and so much of that is due to the amazing performance of Natalie Portman.
OMG, the scene in the motorcade looks so shocking with the blood and everything. Can´t wait for this movie
0:47 Music gave me chills, 10/10 great movie, but THE FACT THAT SHE LOST THE OSCAR TO LA LA LAND...
Do you know the name of the song by any chance?
If my last name was Kennedy I would just give up in life. That family is cursed
Ernesto Martinez especially the men 😂
Ernesto Martinez I'm not sure you would even qualify in a million so you're good.
Yh but they all die in plane crashes ffs 😂
The father and grandfather are probably two of the most driven , ruthless politicians who ever enter politics in U.S. history. Their corrupted ambition (stealing the Election in 1960 alone using unions and the Mob) should have give people pause about then. They placed their children in a win or lose position in their drive to power. It was both a great power as well as curse that over time cost them the lives of JFK and Bobbie later on.
She is really versatile actress, can perform any role...Beauty with brain and heart.
I can make the case she will get another Oscar for this.
This film made me cry so bad. I just felt so sad.
WOW...
Between this and Denzel's fiery performance in Fences... could it be that Best Actor and Best Actress Oscar wins are already locked?
Don't count out Amy Adams in either Arrival or Nocturnal Animals.
Viola Davis' performance as well
+Jack Robbins Co sign. I love Viola and Amy Adams. They are both remarkable but this person, the historical relevance, the fake voice, the woman behind the character... this looks revelatory.
Don't forget Emma Stone too for La La Land. It's shaping up to be a tough best actress category. All worthy winners.
Casey Affleck will win best actor.
The music in this trailer is NO WHERE to be found. SOS. I even reached out to Fox two years ago and no luck. It's so beautiful ahhhh!
Did they simply not answer or did they say it's not available?
OBPTY unfortunately they weren’t able to answer the question and just directed me to the movie’s original score but as we know, it’s not on there sadly :(
If you scroll through the comments far enough you’ll find what it’s called and who did it: I reached out to them when this was released-they aren’t allowed to release it
The range this woman has in her performances is insane. She's always someone else. That's how a true actress acts. Being convincing is one thing but being a different person is another.
I loved this movie, Natalie shined as Jackie O
Portman should have received an oscar for this film. Scandalous that she didn't.
Too beautiful
This movie looks wonderful. Natalie Portman is spellbinding. We get a real look into the gentle, kind and strong Jackie.
And the Oscar goes to...

Emma Stone whoops
I was hoping this would be about Jackie Chan. 0/10 will not watch.

Thank you, kind sir. In these dark and uncertain times you bring joy to the world.
Watched this movie Sunday and I have to say I really loved it. Not enjoyed it because its really depressing but very good. I have always been very critical of Portman's acting but she is so good in this you actually feel you are watching Jackie Kennedy. She deserved the Oscar this year more than even with Black Swan but the sad thing is she will lose. She really deserves to win.
Pablo Larrain is good at making her lead female characters look and sound exactly the same as the person they're portraying. This is the best example, we'll see how Kristen Stewart will do in Spencer.
