Alright... Heaven... Description... Full of tornadoes aswell as constant lightning... Damaging hail... Ridiculous amount of rain... damaging winds... And beautiful storm structure, im 99.9999% sure this is heaven.
No words... So many feelings... I mean, Mike, it is pure art. You, your family and stormchaser friends have to be so proud of your work. Seriously... What a beautiful journey! Congratulations and thank you so much for your sacrifice and will to make this films for your fans : )
Hands down the best film I’ve ever seen. The power and beauty of Mother Nature are the most amazing and just awe inspiring. Put together like this is brilliant. I could watch this all day! Absolutely amazing!
This is truly a magical mesmerizing visual with colour, aesthetic and sound design bringing the viewer closer to nature far beyond our imagination, breaking the rule of thirds to create an outstanding masterpiece of our beautiful planet. AMAZING!
I think every year I say "this is you best yet!!" and then you outdo the year before!! The colors is some of these storms where just amazing!! Your hard work always pays off!!
I've always enjoyed finding elaborate images in the clouds and other objects/textures. Figured I'd share one with anyone interested: @1:33 If you pause at the latter half of this second, it looks like a cartoon character's face on the left, looking right - eyes bulging & cheeks puffed up, blowing/spitting out smoke/liquid. I also see a long-necked horse (of sorts) and a smaller puma running at one another. So many faces too... One at the top, slightly to the left, looking directly at you with dark eyes, his mouth agape, and could also be rocking cupped headphones.
I will never get over that may 25th storm. So glad you captured something as high of quality as it actually looked in the moment. Unreal storm, unreal talent.
Living in hilly country all my life. And have driven thru the great plains. It is mind boggling how FLAT it is! I would love to live out there for awhile to experience that!!!Love thunderstorms too. Great video!
I can't quit watching this. I've seen this 4 times, and shared it with my best friends in person--they keep watching, and I watch along with them as though it was my first. This is beyond incredible. Thank you so much for sharing your passion with us complete strangers. I'm moved to tears each time I see this. Your passion is apparent within this, not to mention the music. It's perfect. Great collaboration! Thanks again for sharing this, and all you do.
I can't help but think that watching these storms in time lapse can help meteorologists understand how the severe ones form. Of course, I'm sure that's occured to others already. On another note, these videos are such a treat, Mike. You have no idea how much of an honor it is that you share these to us for free to watch. Just know it is extremely appreciated!!! These are absolutely astounding to behold.
OMG! So amazing. We don't see clouds growing and moving like this. I would actually be scared watching these clouds form outside my house. Thank you so much for this. Epic!
Mike proves that nature puts even the most elaborate AI creation to shame. The authenticity of vorticity is timeless - all of nature's most unexpected angles and colors on full display. There are hours of cinematic experience to fill a motion picture - imagine that on an open air screen at night with a couple of good drinks. Excellent work again!
I'm speechless for this video , I 'm not a storm chaser , but I dream of being one day and my inspirations are you who dedicate your life to this and that 's what you like to do , and I love looking at nature , the sky as clouds and so on, all this fascinates me, delights me, I was moved from beginning to end, thank you.
Just wanted to say that you've done it again. An absolute masterpiece that I'll watch on repeat for years to come. Your older timelapses helped me select a new camera with the 5DSR, and she's served me great over the past few years.
What a masterpiece !!! Every single year you come up with the greatest storm footage ever captured.. again and again.. it's so impressive how you are always ending up in front of the most photogenic supercells... combined with your shooting and editing skills... that's a pure gift !!
I don't know how you do it... I have always had the opinion that no matter what a photo/video will never fully portray the magnificence and awe-inspiring beauty of what is being witnessed. Your work has come the closest by a long shot! The colors and motion you are able to capture in your stills is beyond my comprehension. Thank you as always, good sir! Stay awesome! 🤘🤘
Amazing, Mike!! ❤️ I'm pretty sure I've watched every single one of these videos that you've put out and I'm never disappointed! It's the structure that fascinates me the most, about storms. You so eloquently capture that. Thank you, and your family, for all the time, effort and time away from your family, you put into it. It is very much appreciated!
By sheer coincidence I've lately been working my way once again through your earlier works, of which I never tire. But just when I might be tempted to think that you've covered all angles of the storm phenomenon along comes Vorticity 5 and completely knocks my socks off! The number and variance in new perspectives in this film are astonishing. You highlight the incredible 'uniqueness' of every storm, showcasing the explosive fluidity of our atmosphere, and the other-worldliness it can reveal (such as that starting at ~10:18). Your wonderful family must be very proud of you Mike; you are the true master of this art! Thank you so much for sharing it with the rest of the world.
Always stunning captures, music and atmosphere! Some of the sunset sequences were absolutely wild with color!I really liked the part when the tornado walked up onto a mesa. Thank you for your efforts in capturing all this, putting it together with that epic music and sharing it with us.
This is one of the best videos i've seen in youtube for sure! Amazing footage quality, amazing score, amazing cut and exquisite color correction. Hope you get millions of views!

For sure the Hallways leading up to it. And the Angels Choir to comfort him along.

I've been filming them for a decade! Thank you!

They are hugely helpful, many NWS offices and mets have asked for them in training classes and more. Appreciate you noticing that stuff!
