This show is salve on a burn. It’s hugs and kisses on a bad day. It’s the feeling of waking to the smell of fresh Belgian waffles in the morning. It’s a warm blanket and crackling fire on a cold winter evening.
RazzDazzler really I want to be a writer for a shows so I could create my own but I don’t know where to start besides I need money before I get into the industry
Can I just say all the animators who did this scene deserves an applause, complements, and a bloody raise with a few paid day off. ❤💕😍👏👏💵Cause this is beautifully done. 😤😤😤
This scene is fantastic, from seeing Birdie, Owen, and Glorious Gary skating in unison, to the kids joining in the dancing and singing. The only thing I hate about it was when it ended. This show is magnificent, and every episode makes me want more.
I love how there's legitimately out of place weird lines in these songs, like just one, and it'll go fast too.. but no one even notices or cares because the music is SO AMAZING that it literally blows it away!!!
@@bluemelonkrik9917 like certain lines are not that easy quick thing that you say that matches the melody it's not perfect but somehow that makes it sound even better? like it's so well written and the music is so banging in general that the couple of extra words added in just sort of bring you out of listening to a song and into watching real people singing a song and then right back into the flow of this really good song that you never entirely left? I don't know how to describe it but if you listen to the song you can notice it like in the choruses. It just isn't perfect everywhere and doesn't perfectly stay like a song on the radio would, or like most songs written in media are, like you would hear anywhere else or on a CD. Most other songs even when they're in TV shows or movies you could nearly pull straight from the movie and just hear the perfect version of the song but here there is no perfect version and it isn't entirely perfect, because we're really meant to believe that these real people are really singing a song but it's still such an amazing song that it doesn't make it lesser for it, and in fact makes it kind of charming
Wish I had Apple TV ! This is exactly *why* I love things like this. The positive, reaffirming message, the uplifting content of it, and just the whole message of joining together and doing what's right in dark times. I don't even like musicals... I thought the The Music in Steven Universe the movie was good. But this shit right here is FANTASTIC. I might start liking musicals after this...,
starkid is a theater company that makes many amazing musical comedies/parodies that are also uploaded to UA-cam if you're looking for some musicals to open up to. I highly recommend pretty much any of their shows but some favorites of mine are Twisted, The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals, and The Trail to Oregon. they aren't like conventional Broadway productions but are amazing nonetheless
This is my favorite scene. makes me miss skating even though I wasn't very good at it. I finally got to watch this show and I love it. I forgot this was a musical series, but I love the songs, its fun, amazing and funny. Its too bad that it's not on Hulu.
Aaron Burr joins a skating group led by George Washington with Olaf (or LeFou or McGiggles/Nathan Schneider) helping him while Anna and Titus Andromedon watch.
Was kinda scared to give the others songs a listen ever since I heard Weirdos Make Great Superheroes because I didn’t think they would be good. But they are!
2:38 to 2:42 is it just me or did I just hear a little Stevie wonder soul run there?🧐 I could be wrong but it sounded similar to how Stevie wonder would sing 🔥🔥🤯

The format probably helps a bit to be fair, having only ten episodes to animate per season means more time cna be spent on more fluid animation (which a musical needs)
I think there are two messages: -There's the important message to allow yourself and others to enjoy life, as we only have the one -Then there's also the message to the viewer to not be upset because of Paige's revelations, to end the episode on a high note for the moment.

I hate to be THAT person, but all I can imagine is George Washington encouraging Aaron Burr to to roller skate. But like they’re still wearing the colonial outfits.
Not the Hamilton reunion we thought we needed, but the one we deserve. Such a great show.
I wouldn't be surprised if there have Lin-Manuel Miranda voice and sing as a character on here in further episodes
I'll bet good money that Renee and Pippa will show up eventually.
you guys know where i can watch for free?
i am not paying apple
James Klark I’m UA-cam people upload full episodes but you can also use Kimcartoon. Just search it up online
Cheshier King and James Monroe Iglehart as well.
Remember that part in Hamilton where Washington and Burr got into roller skating
Oh yeah, that’s was my favorite part, super underrated. I can’t believe no one talks about it Xd
@@tahraethestoryteller6079 Lin was really brave for putting that in the script and the fact it doesn't get talked about as much is a tragedy

Cole hitting that high G note tho holy cow

We really needed more animated musical comedy shows now, it was Phineas and Ferb then, now it’s Central Park!
Central Park is more like Bob's Burgers, because both were created by Loren Bouchard.
The Ghost And Molly McGee is going to be a musical Disney animated series.
Between Phineas and Ferb and Central Park, we had Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
this show is a whole mood of positive fulfillment

Hamilton is how I got my start in the musical's personally. You might wanna start there it's one of the best pieces of fictional imo
Also it has a lot of the same actors is this
I'd suggest the Beetlejuice musical! well, for now, I don't think they are on broadway anymore but go at least see their music!
Musical cartoons always make me cry in a good way I guess I just really love the songs!

leslie odom jr is so talented that even his voice cracks sound angelic 🤩
The Animation is fricking GORGEOUS
accurate depiction of learning to roller skate
This song was in my head this morning because it’s legit beautiful and I thought “where did I hear that”
I forgot the song is about rollerblading
I think this point was the moment that the show clicked for me. Such a hell of a bop.

The animation, music, and content is so damn beautiful I’m 😭
I love Owen's distressed moments they are so funny and well done
Every time Glorious Gary says "Do the Toejam" I always think he's gonna follow it up with "Do the Earl!"
You can just tell Chris Jackson loves to sing so much! What a great song, and a great way to use his talents.
This song is such a banger

Burr and Washington? ON WHEELS?!
Then there’s the one guy looking around and asking
“Why are these people singing?”
"better yet where is that music coming from? I don't see any speakers or boom box anywhere."
Boom Box Behind the skaters in 0:23
That one guy is Bob Belcher.
Who else heard Kristen's part with melody from 'weirdos make great superheroes', nice little easter egg n surprisingly blend so well. Genius!
Considering this involves skating, I can imagine Shadow the Hedgehog singing this.

OK so some of the best parts of Bob's Burgers were the singing and they are catchy ear worms now they extended the scenes

SpongeBob called again he said he still wants his socks back .
Already this feels way more fluid than ANY of Bobs burgers seasons; as those character hardly move this much! ( these animators came a long way!)
The format probably helps a bit to be fair, having only ten episodes to animate per season means more time cna be spent on more fluid animation (which a musical needs)
Well.. they had another animation company work on Central Park you know
The animation 👍 Song uplifting and vibrant
I wish they werent blankly staring. Everything else is so good

I hardly noticed it until I read your comment. 🤣
Can someone confirm if these are actually skate moves? Never skated before to know.
They are.
Search for 70s footage of people skating in Central Park. You will see these moves and more.
The Skaters Circle is next to the Sheep Meadow, across from the Band Shell . Approx 70th St. in the middle of the park. Wear quads!
Nice Gokaiger icon
When a song sung by a rollerskater triggers your existential crisis
Such smoothness...
Did they hire James Baxter?
This is nice, but James Baxter is at least 2 levels above.
Despite 71% people liked it, can we just enjoy this one song from season 1.
Idk if it's just me but does the song have a life learning message behind it or am I just crazy?
I think there are two messages:
-There's the important message to allow yourself and others to enjoy life, as we only have the one
-Then there's also the message to the viewer to not be upset because of Paige's revelations, to end the episode on a high note for the moment.
