Good to see the Sea Cadets are maintaining the high standards they have always had - as an ex Sea Cadet I feel proud to say I was one of those once - a few years back mind!
As an old man of 77, I pay tribute to these young people for a first-class parade. They deserve to feel very proud for what they achieved on Trafalgar Day 2018. Immaculate turnout and dressing etc. Well done everyone, and your adult instructors. Your country is proud of you!
Thankgoodness we still have Youths who are still made of the Right kind to follow we Veterans who started our progress from Boy Scout to Cadet to Regular Armed Forces Service. Well done all of you . Highly Commended.
Absolutely brilliant Parade ! Well done all Services , particularly the Cadet Band and Bugles. It is very reassuring to see Uk youth participating in Cadet Services with the required discipline. Let’s hope there will always be a UK and a Commonwealth of Countries. From an ex RAAF Cadet and an Aussie Lighthorse Trooper .
It was such a great experience to be part of this band and the training week before it. Thanks to Drum Major Mace for making it all possible, as well as the National SCC Staff and of course the RMBS. A brilliant performance by everyone involved, BZ.
Terrific to see the Sea cadets in this day. I joined the T.S.Meteor unit Lewisham in 1949 went from there to RNVR HMS President. then HMS Raleigh for training g as a Stoker. Finished my service on HMS Wizard in Londoerry
Very well done, some adults not in step (you know who you are) but all of the cadets performed extremely well and a good drum performance as well as outstanding bugling.
