I've only owned this bike for 2 weeks, but already it's not starting and I'm having to get into it like this mess trying to figure out why, and I'm hating it more and more every single F'n day.
I've owned and been around many motorcycles. The Shadows do have a few quirks that weren't the smartest idea. Overall, they are very solid bikes. I've had that one in Kentucky, Tennessee, New Orleans Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi so I have put some miles on that thing. It rides great, has decent power for a 750 cc cruiser. I have the Mustang seat so it is now a comfortable ride as well. I don't exactly agree with how the fuel system is set up, but it isn't hard to figure out and work on due to it's simplistic design.

The bike started having other issues so I parked it. I have Jeeps as well and I like them better. I haven't ridden this bike in a few years now.
What were the symptoms of the bad fuel pump?
Lean popping to eventually wouldn't start at all.
Question, the vent tube at 6:47, does that not connect to anything? Just leave it dangling?
its supposed to vent the residuals, if pump stops working/sending gas to the carb that vent should be able to drain the pump by gravity
