  • In this video I lower the frame of my custom speedster chassis by about 4". This will help handling and drive-ability by lowering the center of gravity, and more importantly make the care more closely resemble the vintage racers that inspired this build. Total hours for this project now total 712

It was great to show us the process you followed to lower the frame. When possible, could you mention the size of the material being use to build the frame; the tools you are using to do the work? etc.; top the ones that know, is of no help, but to the ones that are learning, would be great help, and greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing your work.

Would it not have been easier to move the sprung perch crossmembers up?
How much did cutting and welding the frame weaken it?
What happened to the center crossmember (AGAIN)? Do you have to make a third ... or is it fourth?
Seems you've lost ground with each new video.

I can't tell you how bad I cringe watching you use that huge saw and welder in shorts and sneakers. Be safe please, if not for yourself for those who will watch these videos and think they can do the same thing and cut their femoral artery when the saw kicks back on them.
