I still prefer the exotic maven, its the only shotgun I will drop a havoc pump for. I wish they would fix the blanking issue though. I want drum shotguns to go away, too much of a 50/50 in close combat this season.
If I’m in a straight up 50/50 with someone who is using pump or drum while I have the heisted maven, I feel like it’s more of an 80/20 in my favor. The blanks are real though, and it can be frustrating. I wouldn’t fault anyone for avoiding it for that reason
I like the fact that you can add one Shell at a time with exotic instead of having to reload your whole clip with the drum. That can come in clutch when you have multiple fights one after another
I often play builds and i am seriously enjoying the exotic maven as when you own the wall, build players do NOT expect you make two edits in a row and 2 shots with the maven is more damage (plus buffs) than one decent pump. As most people know by now the drum is unusable in builds casue the low damage and i would rather a grey pump to the mythic drum

Vanilla drum isn't terrible, but I've had much more luck with vanilla maven, I haven't had too many blank shots with the exotic maven either. I also love the fact that I can reload a single slug instead of the entire mag. You just have to repeak with the maven with the correct timing, it works well with the repeater too.
I prefer the mythic drum shotty or any drum shotty as me personally get very preassured bc of the fire rate when someone uses it against me so me personally i like spam jumping and spamming the drum shotty to create preasure Edit 1: it depends on the skill of the lobby if the lobby has insane aim and can even counter spam jump i prefer the pump shotty or the havoc pump shotty
I think the maven is slightly better because every time I go to island I literally get like 7 people go to and honestly that’s just crazy but the exotic maven is hard to get.
Just got a back to back and had the drum in both. I give it the slight edge if it's legendary or mythic. The larger clip size and accuracy outweight the Exotic Maven hitting harder.
I personally don't respect players who use the drum shotgun because of how cheap of a choice it is, it's a really no skill kind of weapon where you can just hold the the trigger down

I prefer Maven in team games, drum in solos. Cause in team games if I get blanks my team can probably make up for that randomness Edit: but I'd never carry either by choice unless I was doing 2-weapon. I'm a pump+swap weapon fan.
When I get the Exotic Maven, my chances of winning a game go up significantly.

Exo Maven my go to between the two, but lately the mythic been getting me through dubs.

Mythic drum is my favourite 100%. My best loadout is reliks mk, Mythic drum, gold repeater, shockwaves and slurps. Plus the munitions major npc 👍

I'd pick the heisted accelerant over mythic drum all day every day. I solo'd a whole squad at the end of a game for the win with just the heisted
I love the accelerated shotgun feels good to use no matter builds or no builds
Heisted Maven for sure, chilli chug effect is insane with it and as we all know movement and mobility is key in ZB.

Mythic drum is better(in my opinion) but the maven is still the second best.
The heisted accelerant fires faster, hits harder and has more range. In what way is the drum better?

I always stick with the exotic maven if I get it. But that mythic drum is pretty fantastic and the ADS is excellent compared to the regular types.
I also don't enjoy fighting on island this season because you 50/50 eating drum shots on the roof when anyone shows up.
