    Customers are crying in the reddit and Samsung community platforms for the replacement...but the replacement units have the same problem. Gsmarena and Tom's guide acknowledged this in their latest reviews but Samsung yet to acknowledge this. Fone is fantastic but not free from flaws. Even the recent software updates could not fix this problem ...According to many critics...S24ultra is no longer the KING of the Android world . Samsung must acknowledge this and recall these units...The ...mura effect..spoiled this beautiful stuff...Hurts a lot being a Samsung lover...

      Reddit? Really? Comprised of snowflakes and cry babies. I want real info and would love to know the percentage of problems vs non-problems. So far, this is the first I have heard of this issue and that include four of my friends who have the s24U and I looked at their phones, and any other review on the internet. So one review, with notations from cry babies on Reddit will not be how I make a decision. And if someone does all I can say is...really.

    I got the s24 ultra in India just 3 days back and my display is quite grainy in grey backgrounds when we reduce the brightness to 10-15%.. But the store here is so well lit that its impossible for them to see this issue... They are not giving me a replacement for the same coz according to them, this is not an issue at all..! Seriously Samsung, this is literally one of the most expensive phones here, I expected better than this..!

    As a s24 ultra user, I believe all the s24 ultra displays are grainy but some of them are more than the others and it's just obvious in gray back ground colors or when you are in a dark place. It's like Xiaomi Reading mode it will look the same. These panels are new and have some issues but nobody knows for sure that updates can solve the problem or not and each tech guys say something.

      I think the truth of the matter is there. But it seems that no one wants to talk about it in a dedicated video (seems very strange, my theory is that there may be contracts with samsung in place preventing them from talking about it).
      Also, many people doesnt even realize they have the same issue (it's not really visible under direct light for most units), and for some reason they keep saying that everything is normal, which is clearly not the case.

    I returned mine for the same issue and i am currently typing this one the new one. Sad to say this one has it too😪 and looks even a bit worse than my previous one. I'm conflicted wether i should AGAIN return this one for hopefully a better one, ask for my money back or just leave it. If only we heard something from samsung...😮‍💨

    This time One plus didn't buy the screen from Samsung for the green line issue instead bought it from BOE and 0P and BOE researched 2 years making the screen for the 0P12. That's why the screen of 0P12 looks so beautiful. And in 0P 12s screen every individual pixel is calibrated in low brightness...so grainy display issue is not available there.

    I disagree. It will not get better with time. Its either its clear or its not. You shouldnt have to run a phone all day everyday. And I never heard of a break in period for a damn screen. That sounds ridiculous

      Indeed, I'm facing the same problem, (coming from an s22 Ultra) my s24 Ultra looked like a cheap knockoff by comparison.
      The phone itself is amazing (internal components, camera, all the ai features) but the display looks really bad, it's really a shame, since the phone would be perfect without the display issues.

      @@Sob3r777 I've been having the opposite experience honestly, my s22Ultra is still working wonderfully, and the screen doesn't have any sign of burn ins (and mine is a european one, so with Exynos chipset). The s24Ultra on the other hand was pretty buggy on some tasks (scrolling multiple images on Instagram and writing comments caused some hiccups, and the screen was really grainy unless under direct lighting).

      So I also have the 24 ultra, and I think the description this creator made was very lackluster. The display is completely fine in normal and bright scenarios. However I tend to see grain when I bring the brightness way down. Now it's not that big of a deal, and even when I notice it, it doesn't become a bother. I think it's simply due to the new screen and the intense display having issues when the brightness is down. It's really not too bug if a deal honest honestly. I have noticed grain, but not how he's describing it

    • @spoopymcspoop2253
      @spoopymcspoop2253 2 місяці тому +7

      @@astro8035 yeah, but the presence of the issue in itself is a problem.
      Paying that kind of money for a flagship with issues is ridiculous, we should not settle for mediocrity and a subpar experience at that price point, I bought s24u coming from an s22u, and the s22u has a better display.
      The fact that samsung seems to either ignore the problem or sweep everything under the rug is disgusting at best, and illegal at worst.

    The grainy issue is caused by the use of LTPO Dynamic Amoled screen this year as opposed to last. Defect arises during the production of LTPO film where impurities entered the dosing chamber inadvertently and stuck to the film plane like dust particles. It is purely a hardware issue and can only be fixed by screen replacement.
