- Hey buddies. Here are some of the coolest books we own. I'd be curious to know which one you would save if you could only choose one! Also, let me know the cool books in your collection! Love ya!
Just realized the title pops up towards the end lol. Just gonna leave it.
😄
Finally the algorithm blesses me with a good channel. Ive watched a bunch of your old videos now, this channel is so sick.
AHHH!! CUJO!! My favourite King book! I hope you love it too... You know what blows me away is that I've heard Stephen King said in an interview that he has no recollection of writing his books from the 80's because of his heavy drinking & drug use. lol.. Like, that's crazy to me because he did some of his best work in that decade imo.
He talks about that in his book On Writing too. Apparently he loves that book and is really sad he doesn’t remember writing it.
Right? Amazing
Your videos are always so so nice to listen to, I love your genuine enthusiam
I'm so happy that the Emily Wilde book made it in to the stack! It was also signed by Heather Fawcett* (the author) lol it is a trilogy with the second book recently released, absolutely amazing stories. I am jealous your wife has a signed copy!
LOVE the Spine Breaker merch! 😊Will you be restocking any time soon?
I love the endpapers on your wife’s books! There’s a new edition of Pride and Prejudice with illustrations and handwritten letters from the novel. BTW - read Pride and Prejudice! 😊
Ah- You have a copy of Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries signed by Heather Fawcett! Love both of those books and am looking forward to the third in the trilogy.
I just finished the first one and started the second one. 😊
Cant wait to hear about your experience reading the Poppy War series. It helped me get into reading again 😊
I honestly wouldn't have expected any king books from you but certainly welcome, i just started reading a few years ago myself and king has made a place in my collection (his books hands down takes up the most space on my shelves)
Started following your channel 2 weeks ago and just wanted to pop in and say hi! We have a TON of favorite/liked books in common and I’ve really enjoyed your content so far. Babel is on my TBR as well, and these editions are beautiful! Happy reading! 😊
0:55 I LOVE signed book too! I started going to author events only a few years ago and already my collection has been growing
I always enjoy listening to you❤
Just found your channel, the title drew me in! Subscribed 🎉
6:15 your wife and I had the exact same experience with Fourth Wing. I happened to be at Target on release day, saw a few folks online raving about it and thought “Eh, it looks cool at least if I don’t like it” 😂
I loved it and Iron Flame!
I keep all of my favourites on a separate shelf, therefore making them easier to save. As an autistic person, I also have a small collection of books about autism; some I’ve read and some I will soon. If I had 20 seconds, I’d grab a box and dump that entire bookshelf into it.😂
Also, I live near Barrie so hello from a fellow Ontarian.
So I'm from Sudan-Khartoum, when the war started last April, we just ran, we left a huge amount of books may be thousands, my father is a vivid reader start collecting them since seventies, So what I'm saying there is no time to save books when there is a gun toward your head, and bomb in your backyard, you just save your family life...i hope no one go through this ever, and may all your books remain safe.
I’m glad you are safe ❤

I've just found your channel, and am really enjoying it. I'd love it if you could take us on a tour of your wife's book shelves too.
I haven’t read the Poppy War trilogy but still loved Babel! I’m also an academic that studied in Cambridge one summer and have read and understood the translation and betrayal quote 😂
love the channel! May I recommend a 'book club' addition to your uploads?
Your wife should do a video with you!!
7:09 This is such a great book! I finished this and Mistborn on the same day and they're both instant 5 star reads for me. Very different books though haha
"I got this for my wive on christmas, because I am the best..."
Yes. Yes you are.
Great video, I might have to steal this idea for my next video.
I just finished Babel and WOWOWOWOWOW I cannot believe how much I loved it
We need to see the Nikon F on the desk!!!
Wow! A thrift find like that is wild!! 1:40

Your shirt hurts my soul lol! Also do you annotate your books? And if so, how do you do it?
Love the videos, keep them coming!
Thank ya!
8:04 Start with the poppy war or Yellowface. All her books are very different. I couldn't get into Babel (it’s like a textbook) but devoured Yellowface and am speeding through the poppy war. I see R F Kuang next week and am hoping to get my books signed!
Just read Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries last week, and it was so good! Such a fun + charming story. Also, my husband read Fourth Wing per my recommendation and enjoyed it, but he is enjoying Throne of Glass more (he hasn't tried ACOTAR yet).
Just found you today! I love your videos!
What about your amazing copy of The Stand? That book is so pretty!
That would be the 9th book if there was time haha
Shantaram, Maps of Our Spectacular Bodies
I love your jumper
I love the word “jumper”
Hi. I frequently shop in Buffalo. Could you reference those cool bookstores you suggest?
I think the idea behind the two Stephen King photos on the back are meant to show how he looked when he started the Dark Tower and him when he finished it. Showing that he'd been writing it for most of his life (at that point).
Have you read the Grace of Kings by Ken Liu?
I ❤your shirt!
That’s his own merch! 😊
How did you end up verifying that your King signature was real?
i was thinking to read fourth wing but i heard some booktubers roasting that book so i removed it from my tbr
The real question is... are you going to crack the spine of your Cujo book ? 🤔
Hahaha I have thought about it…👀
@@booksaresick if you decide to do it, we want a video 🙌🏼
❤️❤️
The more i watch your videos the more i want to get to know your wife
But what about books you actually love?
Sometimes it’s not about love, Mr. Atticus 😔
What’s your first instinct…
Holly, Needful Things, Fairy Tale or The Bachman Books (Rage, The Long Walk, Roadwork and The Running Man)?
I think I’d have to go Bachman books but I do love fairytale!
