Jake and zooey even though they are both attached to other people have a really great chemistry .. I love watching them in interviews they just really respect each other and I'll be damned if there wasn't any romantic attraction between the actors even if they don't act on it.. I am not saying for either of them to leave their partners bc that's wrong .. But you can be attracted to someone and not be in love with them..

To answer your question, I type based off of interviews/late night talk shows by looking for cognitive functions. In a short answer, we can say that these "functions" will show in the motivation for actions that a person takes. Miss this show. It ended way too early and was rushed. The chemistry between the two is awesome. I think that was one of the main reasons the show worked. They mailed the casting. Every one is so much like their characters, and thus appear authentic.
Another company should’ve picked up the show. It definitely could’ve gone on for a few more seasons. Maybe if the show continued, we could’ve literally gotten a season 10 this year. ✋😔

I feel like one of the biggest reasons as to why people ship Zooey and Jake as much as they ship Jess and Nick is because they are literally the same people. It’s like they’re acting like themselves. So seeing Jake and Zooey interact like they would if they were Nick and Jess just makes it seem like they would be together in real life as well. Maybe they’re together in another universe 😌👍
