The Pats still don’t have a LT, or a number 1 WR and are counting on Jacoby Brissett or an unknown rookie at QB. But yet they are somehow going to make the playoffs with a much tougher schedule this year…Gotta love the delusion some Pats fans have lol
For real man. I see maybe 5 wins…. TOPS. I can believe some folks are predicting like 11-6. I’m a patriots fan and it makes me roll my eyes.
Or they could go 4-4 or 5-3 or 1-7 or 6-2…

I love how the Pats can’t plan for the Seahawks because they’ve got a new coaching staff, but the Seahawks apparently have the Patriots’ number in spite of Mayo, et al being new. 🙄
Two or three wins this season is highly likely. Another top 3 draft pick next season so not all bad.
It's actually very bad. Krafts are cheap and they'll stretch this rebuild out while they gauge fans for high ticket prices and put a crappy team on the field.

For a team this bad, the ticket prices are actually ridiculous. These are ticket prices of a 13-3 Super Bowl bound team, meanwhile our team is one of the worst in the nfl 😹😹

@@DMDvideo10prices were cheap as all hell. Saw $40 tickets for mid level seating… prices fluctuate with the teams performance, record, having elite players or a team of bums, etc. That all plays a roll in the cost of tickets.

Drake is a QB1, but he needs a proper supporting cast and time to get his mechanics etc sharpened.
@wesmckenna8287 chiefs would have won the Super Bowl Mahomes 1st year. They actually gave one away sitting him, and that's the perfect example of the punishment for sitting a QB.
0-8 is possible, but every season there's those games that you don't expect a team to win and they do. Then there's also the games you expect them to win and they lose.
Not to mention, do people forget that the Jets are the Jets? It doesn't matter how much talent a Jets team has on paper, they will find a way to Jets things up.

Eventually, it happens to all the great teams. In all sports. Just be happy with the future because I really really am excited. I can’t wait for like the next two years because I believe Drake will end up being one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Remember he’s only 21. He’s going to be so damn good. We will build around him correctly.

Before the season started, I already had in mind a 2 to 3 year process of rebuilding. I don’t expect us to win the Super Bowl this year. So I am OK with using next year Draft to get more weapons and protection for Drake when Drake actually starts. I definitely see them beating Seattle though, so I don’t see them losing 8 straight games
0-8 would necessitate a coaching change
Pats will be 3-6 after first 9 games. Will finish 5-12, 6-11 with a top 8 pick in the draft.

The offense is much more improved and they actually got some protection on the offense. Drake Maye played with worse in college there gonna run the ball mainly and the defense is gonna come through I see 7-8 wins

Did they even watch last year. We had 8 losses by 1 score. Our defense for years has been top tier for years besides the 49ers game our defense should keep all these games close. No more dysfunction will change a lot on the offense
I AGREE!! Screw all the naysayers! I say we split with our division rivals,; and the Seahawks, Cardinals, Rams, Jags, Colts, and Bears are all winnable too. 8-9 wins is just as likely as the 2-3 that the talking heads keep predicting.

I’m OK with that. We can take a guard or a receiver. We can get more protection and weapons for drake. or we could trade it and get two or three first round picks. There’s no Harrison Junior receiver in next draft. Or joe alt. Very good guard and receivers though. Just not like those other guys. As of yet anyways.

Early season Bengals are beatable, Seahawks are beatable, Dolphins at home are beatable, Texans at home are beatable, Jaguars will be beatable, Jets at home will be beatable, Titans might be beatable. I wouldn't PICK them in any of these games and it's certainly possible they drop every single one. But c'mon they'll probably steal one or two it's not like they have the 85 Bears eight weeks in a row.
It’s a rough schedule for the Patriots. I could see this being an incredibly low win season which could be tough on morale but great for the upcoming draft so I’m not mad. I would love to just see progression throughout the season even if it’s not filled up with wins. If they could just get some momentum and figure out what kind of team they are(not just what they want to be), I’d consider it a W season.

I don’t see where he gets 5 wins from the final 9 games. At Miami, Buffalo twice, and the Chargers. Those are 4 losses and need to sweep the other 5. Those 5:
They go to Chicago, Arizona, and Tennessee, and host St. Louis and Indy (playoff team and borderline playoff team).
Some winnable games but also need to factor in whether maye is starting by then.
Not to mention, we will beat the Jets because Aaron Rodgers will already get injured and be out for the season after the first game or two. I literally predicted that would happen last year when they signed him. Now they didn’t even draft a young QB early in the draft. They drafted one that is like three years away from being ready. They should have got JJ McCarthy but the Jets aren’t smart so I’m not surprised.

First this is a rebuild which if we're lucky I.E. draft, free agents, health..2-3 years and we're back to a consistent playoff contender.
Unlikely but plausible. As for the current season, honestly if our defense is anywhere close to last season? If this offense gets ANYTHING more than a single heart beat a game..we could have some exciting coin flop style games. Maybe not a lot of wins but in year one of a rebuild you're not gonna get much more than that imo

I believe Jacoby Brissett and the WRs they brought in are FAR superior to anything we’ve had here since the Edelman Amendola Gronk days! They were also 31st in both 3rd down conversions AND scoring! Both will be dramatically better this year. I have faith!
