Thank you for explaining your process. I understand and respect that it's your job and you get to do it the way you want! AND I'm disappointed to learn you're not going through them in chronological order, or in a methodical way. I submitted mine via TT, and you did acknowledge it. At that point I thought I was in a backlog, not a swimming pool.🤣😂 What's disappointing is seeing folks who didn't make much of an effort in their videos get chosen, especially when it's a parking lot. I took some care and time with mine, including planning it out and waiting for the perfect day (can't say more than that or it becomes a clue). I enjoy your channel, and I appreciate your humor and creativity.😎
I'm sorry you're disappointed. There is logic behind not doing them in the order received. First, it means that I can ensure variety and show videos that are in very different places and using very different approaches to finding them. I cannot guarantee that without manipulating the schedule of videos. Second, if I processed it like a queue, nobody new would ever submit a video because they'd feel sure I'd never get to their video. Semi-random selection plus purposeful ordering of content is the best plan for making this enjoyable for the most people.
How many of those balls are partly processed? How were you able to pick ten balls in order to do an international or canadian week, without looking at the videos first? Do you keep a spreadsheet with partial solves, or a giant backlog of completed videos to be uploaded?
It’s the last thing - at any given time I have lots of locations I have found but haven’t had a chance to record videos for. When I have a themed week, it usually means I’ve selected several (recently found) videos just prior to that week that fit the theme.
Jose, I think the issue a lot of fans have are with regards to people getting their second or third submissions reviewed before many others get their first reviewed. Hoping we can drive further equity in the Joseverse. ❤ from Denmark.

The reason I ask isn’t to be snarky but I made two short videos around the 4th of July and I tagged you in them (at least I think I did)… and I haven’t gotten any acknowledgement. Does that mean that they were lost in your InBox and never made it into your ToDoPool? Or does it mean I don’t know how to properly tag you in a video? I assume that is an indication that I did it wrong or you just haven’t been able to get to it yet but that’s ok. I did one of them for you to be able to check off another country, not because I wanted to see myself in one of your videos. Keep up the awesome work!
