Difference between American and Japanese car culture 1. Japan is all about how it relates to one self. 2. America is all about how much money goes into it, and how much money can be made when resold. You dont ever see modded Ferraris or Lambos in America - they are all kept "showroom" condition, with as few miles as possible, so the owner can get as much money when he resells it at the lowest possible mileage and fewest modifications. Essentially, Americans buy cars to impress others, and then keep it ready for the next person to enjoy. Not much freedom of expression. I absolutely envy Japanese car culture, and I am American. Wish we would mod the hell out of exotics and not give 2 shts about the next owner.
If you were really passionate about cars, you'd know that washing a black or dark painted car during the middle of the day is a really bad idea. It should be done early in the morning or in the evening.. after the paint has cooled off is when you wash it. that also helps with water spots as well.
I approve of the fluorescent, energetic silly-putty-green Lambo'. I remember a comment made by broadcasters some 20+ years ago, about one of the F1 carts being painted a certain shade of green specifically for it to "pop out" for television rebroadcasting. Anyhoo'. :)
