These are good, competent entry level speakers made with decent materials that can be picked up at a reasonable price today; Especially perfect for young beginners building their first component system or perhaps just getting into vinyl for the first time. These have a very neutral sound yet even for those with a developed ear- these sound perfectly acceptable at reasonable volumes.
Tengo estos baffles desde 1992, incluso el mismo color, con cambio de tweeter por un Polydax más trabajos hechos en el cross over conectado a un amplificador Rotel de 60w por canal. Son de gran solidez, (pesan unos 25 kg cada uno); buen gusto estético como se aprecia, los pagué a un precio accesible para mí en esos momentos. Se basan en el "sonido inglés" según me comentó un técnico, es decir pocos agudos y los medios muy "adelante". Diría que sí, por eso los arreglos hechos más tweetesr Leea fabricados en mi país (Argentina) conectados en paralelo y realmente me satisfacen. Muy buenos sonidos graves desde entonces. Los uso apoyados en base de madera de pcoso centímetros pero acostados.

Pretty cheap speaker.... My tweeters dont work but ohm test didnt show open... So i tried car tweeters and they worked, so im assuming i have bad tweeters

Nice I have a old school Nakamichi receiver av 300 ,560watts only have two Athena's connected to the DVD.
@@AB-xh4vr ended up going with Yamaha from late 90s, then upgraded to a better Yamaha made in Japan. Haven't hooked that one up yet

These sold for $750 a pair in the early 90s, definately not cheap for that time.
