- Architectural sketch House 6 is part of the series of architectural sketching.
Art supplies used in the sketch:
Paper: Marker paper A3 from copic
Markers: warm gray 1,2,3,5,7,9 from copic, E53, E55, E57 from copic, 5527, 5507, 5497, 1205, 141, 136, 139 from pantone tria
Linework: Sakura microperm 03, paper mate flair M
Highlights: white gelly roll pen, White zebra corrector

Just found your channel. Mr. Ariel , of course your style is impeccable . For I too have done many rendering with both one and two point perspectives. I really like doing my drawings "free hand" and using a straight edge for my straight lines and too for " popping " certain lines out . It gives it that clean look. The straight "free hand" style lines you do are absolutely incredible. Very hard to do for I know ! Prisma markers I have always had trouble with as they are really hard to use with shading , but you do it with such ease. I love your trees, rocks and shrubs. Especially the trees for they are so great ! And too, the way you included the interior furniture was absolutely amazing. So really cool ! The best part for me when doing my drawings are coloring the glass. To me its when everything comes to life ! The white / clear strokes of the panes of glass are a favorite too. I have a huge passion for coloring my renderings by way of water colors ( painting lightly ). For me, its much easier to work with than using colored markers. For I have found that when painting , just the "mere" suggestion of the color intended works well with me. Of course, I do use " a hint " of the markers in the greys, browns and blues to set the shade part. But very gently ! As like you mentioned about the word "saturation", Its the thing I have learned to do "real lightly" and then stop with the color. So totally understood.
But , I must admit. I have always struggled with " over working " certain areas , and its really.... Really frustrating. For once the color marker is applied to the paper, its on there for good and I really struggle with stopping and to know when to stop and leave it alone. Then I worry about having to start all over again. As " perfection" is also , as an artist, is a great big problem to over come .
But, just yesterday I found your channel and really do greatly appreciate all of "what' and "how" you do it. A tremendous "gift" you have and I thank you for sharing ! Cheers !
Thank for your great comments! Watercolor has its own character and is different from marker technique which relies on the stroke. Only with practice is how you begin to have a feeling of the nature of the technique

Recomiendo copic para interiores y arquitectura, son base alcohol, chart pack son buenos para diseño d e producto y automotriz, su punta es más ancha. Para arquitectura funcionan bien los copic sketch

Hola Ariel, una pregunta; cómo le haces a la hora de hacer los trazos, los tienes en mente o te basas en alguna imagen y como te basas para las dimensiones o proporciones. gracias
Los voy sacando a ojo, a veces se ven las correcciones de los trazos, pero con el color se ocultan, es bueno tener referencias pero no siempre se tienen. La práctica es muy importante porque te va educando el ojo.
Do you look at a picture when drawing or make it up in your head
I got inspired by some kind of architecture and always looking for new inspiration, however I just sometimes begin drawing lines without too much idea on what is going to look like the final sketch and it evolves as I keep sketching. It is like discovering through the process.
