The “Stump Lickah’s” are out in full force, going after the cedar bark, at that time of year!!! Unless you have some crab apple trees down back, but usually those are stripped pretty bare by the end of January!!! Your accent’s a little thin for being a “DownEastah”, but it’s nice to hear on UA-cam!!! Hi from Central Maine, Scott and Family!!!
We see deer all the time while cutting and skidding. We cut mostly hardwoods herein Pa. I have cut a tree down and had deer walk to the top and eat the buds while I sit on the stump and watch
I log part time and have a Clark 666c, my last couple woodlots have been spruce/fir jobs. In the past I’ve ran the chains and blade up and down the trees but your “limbing gate” trick works better. I’ve been doing it last few times I’ve been to the woodlot. Keep making videos and stay safe cutting!
Best of luck to you. Mud season is coming fast. My driveway is getting nasty. You always have such a great selection music for your videos as well. The deer add to your videos. The twenty minute video seems to work well also. UA-cam rewards watch time. The longer you can keep people watching the more UA-cam will send people your way.
Nice to see there are still young fellas willing to work for a living, love the deer.

Your trees are toothpicks compared to our Pacific Northwest timber!
Great video. First time watching. Pretty cool limbing trick.
I just love watching the deer. The one sitting was so beautiful! Do you ever see predators come after the deer?
They are peaceful to watch, and no I never have but it certainly happens! Coyotes and bobcats are pretty much their main predators up here.
