Just like real plants, if you put the time and energy in, the they really do flourish! What amazes me about this deck is that its literally Dragon Link but with plants, and, in my opinion has far more powerful end boards. The problem of course is that its incredibly complicated, every hand can produce a multitude of lines and said lines will change after interactions with the opponent. The real challenge with plants is not so much the combos, but how to adapt, much like nature! Great video as always, and thank you for teaching me new things about one of my favorite decks, may your channel grow like the tallest of trees!

This is such a helpful video. I am trying the more pure Aroma with Ragnaraika engine and was trying to figure out the one card combos but was struggling. This video showed how to get into all of them and i appreciate that. These combos are extremely long so it's really helpful to follow along.

I feel like I actually kind of get the deck after this vid. Sounds stupid but the combo is setting up the end board, as in recycling lonefire to get rose whip, getting konkon + sheet, fusing with blend then the xyz and resurgence. So each part gets u to that. Cutting off if they can’t get lonefire access stops the deck from bridging into the different plant sections. Since the Rikka cards add a lot of interruptions. But, resurgence + fusion is pretty easy to deal with, so removing the panic of not understanding the deck and seeing loads of plants being slapped down really helps!
Honestly, I've started building this deck and I was shocked by how few URs are actually in it, I only need 4 more and I have the dust for 2 of them, I just need to see whether I pull any in my next 10
I MAY consider making this if I happen to pull the ragnarika UR’s alongside more copies of Rosalina while I make a Lightsworn engine, but it’s not a high priority. This will be a nice guide to refer to once I learn plants.
Depending on where you are nib’d you can still recover from it and still go full turbo combo it won’t be the best but it will be enough to survive until turn 3
Could you make an extended video showing how to continue playing these combos after getting hand trapped? Plants is my favorite archetype and I genuinely want to make this work, yet I seem to not be able to play through a single ash blossom or nibiru.

This is a great video to learn this deck. Problem is this deck has to be the hardest deck in yugioh to learn. It literally takes weeks to learn to not mess up the chain.
What makes the plant pile good is that there are 20ish one card starters and 20+ hand traps and disruptions, problem is there is also about 20 garnet cards...
you should do updated beetroopers and stuff with these cards. Generic plants (covered here) GY Reptiles Beetroopers Aroma Could mess around with rose dragon stuff or more pure rikka etc but it’s Whatever
I was excited to learn how to play this but the length of those combo's is not doing it for me. Even if I can memorise them, I don't think I'd be able to pilot a deck like this through handtraps

how would you describe the plant deck? Is it kinda like a solitaire deck where you just go full gas on turn one and hope your end board is enough to win?
I kept evolving this decks of aroma and rikkas along with ragnaraika, it is great but for the long time, can it handle in top tier? i have seen it destroyed against some decks as branded but it got yubel couble of times, is there a result taking it to top duels? I really want to stick with it

Because in the deck you play every plant deck, pure sunavalon has never had too long of a combo, pure rikka even shorter. But this is a deck of 5 archetypes all combining synergistically Rikka Sunavalon Therion Raika and Aroma, though Therion barely adds to the combo 😂
i just listed down all the steps for the first combo and it is a 2-page document with all the shorthand and stuff and you special summon 29 times... these combos are just as if not more convoluted as the infernobles, but these are 1-card combos + 1 extra on hand to discard, truly ridiculous!!

Honestly, the deck plays many extenders, you make a weaker end board than that but the example combos are very overkill, you don't need 6 interruptions, often you can do less and still create a very strong board. As long as you don't get drolled or shiftered
So this might be a dumb question, but I’ve been playing this and sometimes when I do the beginning combo line with *Beetle and *Seed into *Skeletal soldier and I summon back Seed, w/ Beetle sometimes my skeletal soldier does not turn on. For me to re-summon *Beetle Do you know what could be causing this? (and I hope all of this made sense lol)
@@coachkeem3466 makes sense, so beetle can summon any plant, and skeletal can only summon raika monsters, what you’ll want to do, beetle should summon the Rosalina for example while skeletal should summon the seed and it should work, If you started the combo with seed then beetle summons seed and skeletal summons beetle It should work now

Ragnaraika limits ypu to 3 types- Plant, Insect and Reptile Sunavalon limits you to plant extra deck Rikka limits you to only plants. So if you commit to to rikka and ragnaraika early, you missed out therion plays.

Sunseed Loci line has better endboard than Evil Seed one (imo) which is GREAT since i don't plan to pull on this pack 😂😂😂 crafting at least 3 new UR and 3 new SR is still an "E" moment tho

So this might be a dumb question, but I’ve been playing this and sometimes when I do the beginning combo line with *Beetle and *Seed into *Skeletal soldier and I summon back Seed, w/ Beetle sometimes my skeletal soldier does not turn on. For me to re-summon *Beetle Do you know what could be causing this?

@@coachkeem3466 makes sense, so beetle can summon any plant, and skeletal can only summon raika monsters, what you’ll want to do, beetle should summon the Rosalina for example while skeletal should summon the seed and it should work,
If you started the combo with seed then beetle summons seed and skeletal summons beetle
It should work now

Did you forgot to summon regulus or you were afraid to not have spaces for the rest of the combo?
The Link 2 of Ragnaraika works like Branded Fusion
you can't summon Monsters that aren't plkant Reptile or Insect the turn you use the effect
Ragnaraika limits ypu to 3 types- Plant, Insect and Reptile
Sunavalon limits you to plant extra deck
Rikka limits you to only plants.
So if you commit to to rikka and ragnaraika early, you missed out therion plays.
