This was one of the hardest game I ever played gun or no gun and you make it seem like it's a baby's toy. I also didn't realize how short that was. This takes me back and you let all my frustrations from this game disappear. Thank you and great job.
15:17: *in Wild Dogs voice* (because someone told the wrong VA to read the script) OW! You are finally here to save me! WHAT A TWIST RACHEL WAS BEHIND EVERYTHING!
Ah Time Crisis.. I remember owning the Avenger Pro Light Gun for this game.. it came with a pedal and had this recoil function like the arcades had.. Good times :)
God damn this was my whole childhood in video games. I played every time crisis game on my PS2 and I had a steering wheel with pedals I used to set it out like an arcade machine
Good stuff. Though I was always under the impression shooting the helicopter at 11:15 lowered the health of the helicopter at 12:10. I say this as I am sure I recall in the arcades managing to destroy that copter before it flew of screen (at 12:20 in your run) a couple of times, skipping the down time where it flies around the tower.
I always loved the fact that you're able to take a helicopter down with a mere handgun. You see it explode, so maybe Richard shot the fuel tank, but I dont know.
***** Apparnetly Richard's using a Strayer Voigt Infinity handgun, probably modded like hell if it can bring down a heli like that. Probably had enough cash to buff the firepower to shit-hundred-and-fuck.
You're aware of the unannounced direct hit glitch, right? It's when you take damage and don't know when to cover. This glitch was fixed in time crisis 2, where red enemies fire bullets called "deadly eyes", which are indicated by a red flash and don't miss, giving the player time to cover before the shot lands a direct hit.
nicksmashbros Yeah actually that was a lame thing in the first Time Crisis. I remember that sometimes even just the regular blue guys would land hits on me because you don't expect them to. Although I don't think it was a glitch as such it was just a game flaw.
Perkilator Gaming that's what make this game sooo difficult and Richard in fact is the only agent trusted to work alone,no partner no support i think the "red bullet" counts as a support
This whole comment is made up. The unannounced direct hits are not a bug, they are just poor game design. The red flashes are never referred to as “deadly eyes”, they are called “Crisis flashes”.
I could do 100% and no hits form enemies on the arcade cabinet. Took a shit load of money and practice but it was possible. The enemies always came up at the same spots so you jujst had to memorize the maps. That was the best part cause you could constantly try and beat your best time, and it impressed the shit outta people at the arcades.
damn , I beat the nr. 1 score of the game one time with about 10 or 20 seconds, dont know exactly but man....did i have to die a lot to achieve it. Knowing where the bombs are, how the soldiers walked, where they come from. The way you play is pfffffffff.....I know I was fast after many tries and I allso used the controller, but this gameplay is just ridiculous. Thanks for the upload...was 11 when i played this....loved that era!!!!
I know that this video is 4 years old, but still, awesome work. If you're accepting suggestions, enemies "die slower" if you shoot them just once. They "die faster" and skip most of their death animations if you shoot them thrice. So technically, this TAS could go much faster if the last enemy of a particular place is shot thrice.
+James Porter (PMGPSW) but then it'd not be a TAS, it'd just be TAPR (Tool Assisted Perfect Run). i'm sure there was different name for that, but can't remember it...
Damn I remember playing this shit back in teh day in the ARcade. THis run is EXACTLY how I would shoot the game manually. I forget my time, but it was pretty damn close to where this run is at. I cant tell you how many times I pumped a dollar or 2 into this game to play it, and that was in the fucking 90s. When games were 25 cents to play still!!
Not strictly a TAS because you were going for 100% accuracy (and didn't skip any of the cutscenes), but still *damn* pretty.' Wonder why there aren't more first person shooters on TASVideos. They'd be pretty easy to make, and trust me, it is *very* satisfying seeing those smack-talking punks hit the deck before they have time to gasp.
HI, I want to play the Arcade version of Time Crisis (and perhaps other lightgun acrade games) on MAME emulator on my PC using My Gon 2 or 45 on my CRT and I'm hoping you can help me? Is it straightforward can you direct me toward a video or website Guide to doing this and will doing this give me the same accuracy and genuine lightgun experience I get playing Time Crisis on the Playstation itself? Obviously I have a CRT tv and real Gcon 2 and 45 guncon's. Just to let you know I have an ultimarc aimtrak and Topgun III (thought the trigger broke on the TG!) but they are not genuine lightguns that work directly with a CRT like the Guncon's. Thanks for your great video and I do of course have the GunCon2Driver0.9b6 to start the process off. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, - Myles Thomas
Time Crisis (2021) Characters Time Crisis (1995) & Time Crisis: Project Titan - S1 Time Crisis II & Time Crisis: Crisis Zone - S2 Time Crisis 3 - S3 Time Crisis 4 & Time Crisis: Elite - S4 Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Ninja Blade (2009) & Time Crisis 5 - S5 (FS)

I love the Time Crisis games for how campy they are, in that old school action movie kind of way.
don't play the new one its terrible

omg i found out wild dog voice is chris redfield from resident evil!
Rachael is Rebecca Chamber
Chris Redfield becomes nasty in Resident Evil 8: Village
new VSSE young agent (Time Crisis 6) would be Ethan Winters

Ah Time Crisis..
I remember owning the Avenger Pro Light Gun for this game.. it came with a pedal and had this recoil function like the arcades had.. Good times :)
Only for PS1, right?
This brings back so many memories, damn
I just noticed. The main character doesn't get a line at all.
Richard Miller vs Claude Speed
+AlexDeGhost against the gta online character
death battle
Against the fall out character.
man the main character doesn't talk at all
Nostalgia to the max!!!!
This was one of the first games that presented itself like a movie with cutscenes, trailer-like intros and all that.
I never noticed this when I was a kid, but it looks like the two machines at 14:08 are the teleportation devices from the movie 'The Fly'.
His reaction time and accuracy is quite impressive.
Well done.
when i was Little i thought that the first boss had on his eye bloody growth. thats scared me a lot
ahh great memories of this game, used to go mad on the arcades
God damn this was my whole childhood in video games. I played every time crisis game on my PS2 and I had a steering wheel with pedals I used to set it out like an arcade machine
thank you for uploading this. I remember seeing this game when I was little. Always wondered how it would end.
i played this game on my ps2 like a thousand times
ugh this is giving me ptsd flashbacks fighting that dude, who throws knives, unbeatable with a PS1 controller
Part of me wants an anniversary edition of Time Crisis. We would play that I think :D
im no sony fan but a HD remasterd edition of the first three games would be great too
the game that changed my life thank you for making time crisis thank you namco

Action movie physics my friend. It just the way it is.
It would be possible to take out a helicopter with a hand gun, if the chopper was hovering very low it would be possible to shoot the pilot.
***** Apparnetly Richard's using a Strayer Voigt Infinity handgun, probably modded like hell if it can bring down a heli like that. Probably had enough cash to buff the firepower to shit-hundred-and-fuck.

@ 3:06 Guy says "I'm gonna be super badass and do an epic roll and shoot him like that" Richard responds with "Wow, your stupid"

This was one hell of a game when I was a kid
100% accuracy and no hit from the enemies? This is black magic!
Not sure if joking or not, but it said TAS in the title lol.

That's Richard Miller, the one man army.

I think he destroy the clock Tower to be sure that Shirudo, won't survive if I was still alive for some reason.
from what i heard, they're bringing the series over to the Wii U sometime after it comes out.

The song reminds me of Metal Gear
Can't believe those birds didnt die by flying too close to the helicopter.
This should be a movie.
I couldn't for the life of me find an arcade cabinet version of this. It was always time crisis 2 or above
i cannot even do half of what you did with a light gun. respect
we need a remastred version of this

Franks Life Changes I share this memory...

Nobody cares
Nobody always was a very caring individual :)
I think Tom Cruise should play the role of Richard Miller if Time Crisis was to be made into a live-action film.
The time crisis games were really fun
Nice job on this dude our gal.
How memories, that game plot is better that some actual shitty games
Time Crisis (2021) Characters

Time Crisis 4 & Time Crisis: Elite - S4
Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Ninja Blade (2009) & Time Crisis 5 - S5 (FS)
Wait a minute, Time Crisis (2021), does this mean another (6th) installment in the main series?
1. Sherudo and Clove have a lot in common... They both throw knives epically!!!
The ending song has you thinking about what Time Crisis was back then. Time crisis remastered anyone?
Oh God great times
I played this game at the arcades back in 1995 before it was ported to the sony playstation 1
14:20 - someone's been watching 'The Fly' :D. But really those two gons should have emerged horribly fused into eachother, or turned inside out.
I had this game on ps1 when i was a kid. My mum bought it for me from a charity shop for £5 lol
Conveniently placed cover everywhere.
You could gain extra lives in this game? I never knew that.
+neildKoR Yeah but gaining extra life is hard I mean you have to shoot 30 enemies in a row without missing a single shot.
Looks more like 50 but yeah, probably why I never got one...
Nah is 30 you just need patience and precision but the difficult part is when thy shoot you accurately.
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy shit this player is brutal
A classic!
@ 7:02 Richard thinks "What's through this door?" And @ 7:06 "SH**!!!!!!"

I imagine this game will remake at the end of 2017

But wait, I thought the "warning" hits were unannounced direct hits!
I call this game "city Hunter simulator"
Exactly ! I never beated Wild Dog..I always lose when he call his boys...
They didn't fix the issue in project Titan though.
when you have infinite bullets and aimbots, you can storm a castle by yourself without fear.
(also a lot of pocket change)
I wonder why they didn't keep the sound of the gun the same throughout the game...
It is me or Rachel and Richard here kinda looks like Aerith and Cloud (with black hair) of FF7?
Also, why did he have to blow up a clock tower after saying "Just to be sure!"?
