Elon Musk HUGE conflict with China!
You may have heard about China being angry at Elon Musk recently. Wondering why Elon Musk is being criticized by China? And how is the UN involved in the pertaining issue? Two big nations, China and the US, a non-state actor, the UN and one big name, Elon Musk are a part of this burning matter which has gained a lot of international attention recently.
Let’s begin with briefly talking about Elon Musk ( for those who are still oblivious to the achievements of this handsome lad). Elon Reeve Musk, is a renowned name of the business world, a thriving entrepreneur and an embodiment of success. He is the initiator of a number of projects, CEO of Tesla and Space-X, founder of The Boring Company and Co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAL. Enough “flatterin”, let’s dig deeper into the more technical part of the video.
The primary reason behind Chinese displeasure or wrath towards Elon musk, is the close encounter between Chinese space station, Tiangong floating in space, and star link satellites launched and operated by Elon Musk company, namely, Space-X. Multiple star link satellites nearly collided with Tiangong two times. As a result, to save the satellite from crashing into star link satellites, China had to manoeuvre it. Which also meant the prevention of a million-dollar investment loss on the part of China.
Here, you would be surprised to know that the Chinese space station is still under construction but the main modules are launched in space already. China is convinced about the completion of the structure by 2022 with the launch of the rest of the parts which include two laboratories more or less.
As a matter of fact, would you guess how much is China investing in this project? Well, the numbers lie between 10 billion to 15 billion dollars which is a massive investment and so the hostility is pretty much justified.
We are not done yet because it’s the beginning of another story. Dear viewers, it is said that aggression has the power to instigate any behaviour. In this case, the anger is now making its way to the Chinese nation. By this, I mean the people of China have come up with this super fantastic idea of boycotting Tesla!
Yes! You heard me right. And the logical reason for this indifferent attitude is the fact that people buy Tesla products which include their cars primarily and the thick profit is then invested back in Space-X and if you remember, I mentioned earlier how Star link is another mega project of Space-X. It sounds kind of confusing but it’s not! To put it simply, the Chinese are now planning to boycott Tesla products. This might result in a few situations, for instance,
It would definitely slow down the formation of more Space-X satellites.
Increase in the already existing bad blood between China and the US.
Boycott of Elon Musk in China (a country with the largest population)
Decrease in the sale of Tesla products.
Rise of hatred against Elon Musk, and the companies associated with the name among nations.
Not just Chinese, but scientists and astronauts around the globe also appear a little worried after this. Considering Space-X is planning to send around 42000 satellites in space which has tons of advantages obviously such as more satellites mean greater coverage which would ensure better internet facilities, faster internet speed, overall growth, better business for the world and much more.
