- Today is Good Friday, and as we remember what Jesus did for us, let’s take time to look back on one of his last moments on the cross. As Jesus’ life was fading, He was still giving hope to the sinners who were on both his sides. Our reflection today is found in Luke 23:39-43:
“One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
But the other criminal rebuked him.
“Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Thank you for these Good Friday reflections, Sir Gary. It makes me wonder which kind of person I would have been without our Lord Jesus Christ in my life. I probably would have been like the angry criminal, full of hate and disbelief. I pray that I will not be a disappointment to God when my time comes. 🙏

Sorry for being in a cocoon and in just plain ignorance, nothing against Gary V. and for the life of me. I did not know that Protestants celebrate Good Friday too.
