Thank you for the share Rachel. I have this book and have only colored a couple pages. I enjoy flipping back and forth looking at the illustrations. Loving how you colored the double page shelves. Glad you are feeling better. 😊

have you thought about making notes about which pencils you use? either a color tracking report or a sticky note?
I do note them down for my monthly completed pages video in a book, but then do not find it easy to refer back to it when doing a video like this. I do have some color tracking reports that I have designed for all my Johanna Basford and Rita Berman books (which I made for my ko-fi shop) but have not made any for Hanna Karlzon books and I find it hard work keeping them up to date as I colour in so many books!
@@RachelHendersonColouring i use color tracking reports from a facebook group TeresaIvanoresColors. she has a few different layouts. my last HK took 3 pages but i am happy i took to the time to use the tracking report. i adapted them to fit my needs, using a multitude of pencil brands.
but you seem to just need to keep track of not necessarily colors but just the brands you used on a page?
hearing what you use on a particular page is really quite helpful. you do lovely coloring work!
I am trying to do that book in a limited pink purple colour pallette it’s a challenge. I would like to see you do Rita bermans Egyptian pages, the ones with the hieroglyphics might make a good series ?
I do not have her latest book, just the postcards which I have finished. I do plan on doing more of hers soon though probably Europa.

I haven't had the nerve to order one of her books. They seem a bit hard for me. Are any of her books simpler than others?
She does do some books aimed at children, which I think are simpler, though I have never tried them. However they still have peopel in them and for me peopel are hard however they are drawn!
