It is the year of Draculaura and she was never my favorite either. Her G3 dolls are stunning I can't stop looking at her. She is pure perfection in person. G3 all together is exceeding my expectations and I couldn't be happier.
Legacy Day Cerise is amazing. I remember back when the dolls were on the market I absolutely needed her.

I like that there's such a big variety of dolls on this list. I miss Pinkie Cooper and EAH. I think my favorite new doll line releases were Shadow High, especially Shanelle Onyx, and Mermaze Shellnelle, she's so pretty. I also like the blindbox BJD lines from Penny's Box and Teenar since they more budget-friendly strung dolls. Not a doll but the Zuru Mini Fashion handbags were great quality doll accessories. Oh yeah, and OMG Fierce Royal Bee. New from older lines, I like Barbie Rewind Sophisticated Style, OMG Sketches, Tweens Ali Dance, Barbie Extra 14, and a couple of Integrity Toys and Ruby Red Fashion Friends limited editions.
This is so crazy, my daughter had that very same little shimmers doll. She and some little mermaids always made it into the bathtub, so she ended up not looking that good lol. Love all your dolls ❤

it was such a difficult year to pick a favorite doll! there has been so many stunning, exquisite, beautiful, amazing wild and incredible dolls! but G3 lagoona is mine for sure, i just LOVE ever part of her redesign and new character? she's the ONLY doll i have ever wanted to have doubles of 😭

I love your variety. Picking just 22 must have been hard and I'm so glad you included older released dolls. Other than older Barbies and Monster High G1 I put off doll collecting because I was mostly an anime figure collector, MLP, Eevee anything, fairies unicorns, mermaids, cats and magic kinda girl. I sadly have no love live dolls but I have a ton of figures. Then Shadow High changed the game for me. Since May most doll lines are new to me so they are all my favorites. But because of your channel I did get Mermaid High Dolls, Cave club, and Glo Up girls and want a few other obscure lines you've featured. Thanks for that =).My best finds this year were Shadow High, OMG and Rainbow High. I started a G1 Clawdeen Army. Plus some werecats I missed out on, cause I must have them all. But I found 3 Barbies I never knew existed: Midnight Moon, Morning Sun and Evening Star Princesses. They are beautiful dolls. And I can't forget G3 monster high. I am in love with them. Happy New Year and Happier collecting
Ahhh almost forgot Na Na Na. I just got the Koi and Swan and 5 outta 6 Sweetest Gems. I need the minis! And by OMG I mean LOL Surprise in general: tots, tweens, OMG and fierce. It all started with the pets, especially the cats. I have many armies built in 2022. Best doll year ever for me! And i'm happy I found your channel and Angel. =)

My favorite doll that I got this year is deffintely my cheer Sunny,she was Hard to find in here I kept seeing all the other cheer dolls before her and now I finally found her and absolutely love her so theres that. I manage to find a lot ponies this year my favorite find is g1 Italy nirvana peach and g1 princess Ruby.
I also started figure collecting this year so thats also exciting. I think my favorite is Nekopara Azuki and Madoka Magica pop up parade Homura that I got in 2022.

They were nice dolls at the cheaper price. Plus their outfits fit Rainbow High dolls so if you want to have a RH as a Mermaid you can.

I love your collection so much and seeing what stands out to you. You have an eye for quality and encyclopedic knowledge, but the things you choose in the end are the ones that just make you happy. My own doll collecting is on pause at the moment for various reasons, but I'd kill for Legacy Day Cerise (tbh almost any Cerise would make me happy), it kills me that I didn't get more EAH back when they were available due to financial reasons. I adore the Kyouka by the way, I've never even see her A-Zone dolls before. I love that they committed to her character and gave her a smug expression, that's not something I ever really see in dolls and she looks great. Homura and Mami's expressions didn't really stick the landing as well, though. Can't wait to see what unique dolls you pick up this year!

Mermaze Mermaidz are My favest of 2022. So beautiful, Idc if they have articulation on their tail on not, I love the gimmicks much more, and just...everything is pretty in them and they are mermaids!

Oh my God! I didn't expect to see Korean doll in the list from your's. Korea usually make doll looks way too childish(I mean high price with low cuality and ridiculous designs that think children doesn't have great taste). So when I saw lulupop doll, I was so impressed and wanted to give applause for taking a risk. I don't think they don't have plan to make more doll like them(cus they are expensive to make but not popular) but I really hope they do.

my fave doll of the year is cosmic nova from OMG. i dont think she came out this year, but i found here for £2 at a charity shop! shes so cute and pretty i love hanging out with her. she is my only doll atm because i do not have the money to spend on dolls, epecially since they are crazy expensive here in the uk compared to the usa (does anyone know why?)
Because you thrift and do restyle makeovers, I would love a video on which fashion packs would fit Barbie. Especially, “everyday” clothes on curvy Barbie. Glitter girls, Create-able World, Addison Rae, Blythe, etc. I don’t like buying dolls just to steal their fashions and add them to the plastic problem. I want to buy appropriate fashions for my curvy doll.
Will you get blackout curtains/blinds? I worry that the natural light, even thorugh a blind, can still let in UV and damage plastic over time 😪😪

My daughter & I skipped Luna & Ash in series 1 we didn’t really like the outfit she comes in like the bottom part of it and I was worried the gladiator type boots would break when removing 🤷🏻♀️ I was disappointed a little with series 2 Glo up rose I wish she had knee articulation, I wish the top & shorts were separates & I wish the hair didn’t feel dry. MM WW Harmonique is amazing she didn’t disappoint I really love ours 🧜♀️🫶 I’m so happy we scored Howliday Draculaura we just opened ours yesterday my daughter actually has hers exactly like yours right now. I want to make Goldie Twist into Trixie Mattel 😂🤞😉 Demi is my fav in costume ones (of all 6). I want the spring break mermaid high doll she’s on all on Macys 👍. Tessa is my fav of the Royal 3. I legit got into doll collecting only a few weeks ago and have splurged soooo much. Your videos inspired me to try secondhand dolls and I really want to collect as many EAH dolls as possible, so it had to be done. I'm excited to wash them and get them all refreshed. I'm still on a journey to collect Thronecoming, Legacy Day, Sugar Coated, Hat Tastic Tea Party, etc. The list goes on! They're close to being my favorite purchases so far.
