I think everyone thought Velvette would get the short end of the stick of all the Vees because Vox and Valentino are more connected to main characters in the show but I was positive surprised how entertaining she is and how much screentime she got during episodes 2 and 3.
Can we just talk about how clever Velvette actually is?? She was able to deduce that Carmilla knew something about the angel just from observing her face and body language. That takes skill.
Also very tolerant for those who put up with Valentino with a tantrum, I would have already done it shit, of course I don't know how strong Velvet is, but with how manipulable Valentino is, he couldn't see anything done to him.

She seems the type who needs 7 different looks during the day, one for breasfast, one for morning, one for lunch, one for the afternoon, one for supper, one for the evening and finally what she wears when she goes to bed. XD Would be extra funny if that's the case.
I’m especially impressed that she sent a message and asserted dominance by showing up late, making them wait on HER as she finished her call, and then casually said that the others had “better things to do”. She definitely knew what she was doing.

Arguably the smartest too, she manipulated the meeting, insulted Camila and Zestiel, deduced who killed the Angel and already has plans around for the next invasion. She controls one of the most powerful mediums in a war, Intel.

Well, she’s the social media demon. Considering how drama always happens on basically every social media platforms, she definitely could take it like a champ. Or at least in the public or on the surface she could put up a show be like ‘haters gonna be haters’. Maybe that’s why they send Velvette to represent on the meeting too. Because she’s the most suitable for socialising scenes while Vox is more business talking and could only put on a show for as long as someone on screen could provide. Valentino? Hah! He’s definitely the worst among the three in keeping his emotions in control.

Love her “establishing character moment” the first time we see her ordering around her employees and generally being a bad boss. 🤩 She’s iconic Great villain and chaos creating character.
I really hope Velvette visits or joins the hotel at some point, I think she’d have really good banter with the other characters, especially Husk, Charlie (who is basically the complete opposite of her) and Angel Dust. She seems the most ‘redeemable’ of the Vees in my opinion. Her monopoly over social media could also help the Hotel expand quite a lot.
Agreed. A lot love has been given to the big musical numbers (rightly so) but I absolutely love Hazbins background music. It adds so much without pulling focus from the scenes.
