I'm not sure why everyone (not you, Noah) is making it a huge deal about some absentees. OTA's aren't mandatory. I get some people are "worried" about not getting reps in and building chemistry. The way I look at it is, that since some peeps aren't there, it give 2nd, 3rd etc string players get some time in with the higher strings if that makes sense.

It's the guys time to spend as they pleased during the off seasons when they are NOT REQUIRED to be at camp and they shouldn't be crucified and critized for it. Smh!
@@georgedixon9863 but Lamar don't ALWAYS have to attend to every single OTA. If its training camp, then I get it but OTA's he doesn't have to. He could have family things going on or something personal. You never know what these players could be going through so don't just assume.
Not everyone needs to be there. They should be allowed to have a life outside of football. They already have a long season and the league keeps adding more games. Although I guarantee John is the type of guy that holds it against them smh

There's a giant Crow that flys around the back lot where I work and I watch him rule his territory everyday killing snakes running off other birds some even bigger than him but no match it was a metaphor for how they are going to take over this season take what they want and not let anyone stand in the way!! Trust and believe, they're working out together in the off-season. Last year, he was working out with Zay, OBJ, Bate, and others prior to camp.

@@BlackPantherKev voluntary or not you should still show up to set an example for your team. You hardly ever saw Peyton Manning or Brady miss OTA days simply because they are "voluntary"
Lamar is good but he is not good enough to miss any opportunity he has to practice with his receivers. Doing the little things like putting in the extra work even when it's not mandatory can help elevate his game and take the Ravens to the top.
It’s voluntary. He has a family. He has a life. Like the other 100s of guys who don’t go to OTAs EVERY SINGLE DAY. Some of y’all really don’t get it

@@callewfitz 2 weeks in OTAs that even Mahomes and others around the league routinely skip? Who knew that 2 weeks of voluntary workouts were the difference. Ravens brass come hire this guy
@@BlackPantherKev Mahomes has already won multiple Super bowls, he can miss OTAs. Look, like I said I get it. He doesn't have to attend, they are not mandatory. However, every little opportunity to practice or train no matter how small has the potential to make you better. Relax man, the Ravens brass don't need to hire me, I already have a good job. I'm just making a point just like you made yours.
