Thanks for this. I ordered the non-nav version from you guys a month ago. Waiting patiently for it to come off back order ☹️. I’m hoping it won’t be too long a wait. These are terrific head units and I can’t wait to install mine. I also bought the DRV-N520 dash cam. Any idea when the non-nav units will be available? Thanks!

I have the 1007XR and the sound quality is great but it has a terrible flaw in which it drops Bluetooth connectivity from RF interference. Same area on my drive every day and forget about using google maps going through Las Vegas, couldn't get it to work AT ALL in Las Vegas. It can be incredibly annoying.
Interference can always affect a Bluetooth connection. I am sorry to hear that experience is frustrating. Is your wireless Carplay or Android Auto connection also experiencing the slight drop out in the same area daily?
@crutchfield it's my android auto that drops out. Never seen devices drop like this. Makes it tough to follow gps directions if it keeps getting bumped off. This literally happens every drive to work.
Usually, Android Auto features are very reliable on these radios. If the issue is coming from external interference, it would be tough to resolve. We are always here to help though!
The Maestro interface will not affect any wireless connections for Android Auto and could only potentially come into play if you are using a USB adapter with your factory USB with Maestro and connecting wired for Android Auto. If it happens regularly at the same area, it is less likely Maestro is the culprit.
We are not able to research MG vehicles which means we are not able to check if there are installation parts to adapt the 360Camera to an aftermarket radio like this one. We wish we had different news for you there. The good news is that this is one of the most advanced radios and so should be able to work with any radio installation gear that can retain the factory 360Camera

The DNR1007XR's HDMI input allows you to display your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone's screen on the receiver's 10.1" monitor. The HDMI input supports up to 720p video and 24-bit/192kHz 2ch PCM audio. It also features wireless mirroring via Miracast for select Android devices.
Correction: Both models do have the HDMI input. The overall features are the same. The DNR1008RVS has the nicer electrostatic capacitive touchscreen. It has 4V pre outs and a 1-year warranty. The DNR1007XR steps up to 5V pre outs, adds HD radio, and has the Excelon build for a 2-year warranty.
This one does not. The DNX775RVS is needed for that type of mapping support. It can be found here: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYALc227/p_113DNX775R/item.html
Waze and Google maps are dependent on your cell phones data plan. The built-in GPS can be handy when cell service is unavailable, or you do not want to use your data. :)
Please answer me,, anyone, If I bought it overseas, outside US, Europe or Middle east etc.. Dose the Radio frequency works anywhere. or it is specific for US like tradition one?
Authorized venders will only carry the model that is rated for their country which means you most likely will get a model with a different radio tuner from the tuner in the model that is meant for use in the USA.
Garmin Nav has some excellent features. I use google and Garmin at the same time. Google is good for real time. Garmin is better for everything else. Garmin dezl is awesome.

So if I want traffic, which is the only reason I need nav software, I have to use my phone's GPS? Dafuq? The whole reason I want a nav unit in my truck is that I DON'T want to turn on GPS on my phone.
This looks innovative even if it has been assembled based on any common structure. It won't recall ATMs whenever I drive cars.
