Luffy was giving Kaido something he probably hasn't had in decades. A good fight. He said it himself, there aren't many people capable of fighting him. He was so pissed when he won his fight with Oden due to that dirty underhanded trick by Kurozumi Higurashi. At Oden's execution, Kaido apologized to Oden stating that he didn't want to win that way. Now someone who can challenge him, who can fight him, forcing him to go all out appears after all these years and the fight is interfered with again, resulting in an unfair and unearned victory. Kaido's face shows it all. He's not just sad, he's devastated.
Twice Kaido has fought a worthy opponent that has made him go all out, and twice the fight has been interrupted at a crucial moment giving him an unfairly won victory. While i dont doubt hed take the win, his Pride as a warrior must be devastated. That CP0 agent is beyond fucked lol.
