My biggest complaint about Twilight Imperium is that its too long, so a 1 or 2 hour TI is perfect.
I'm confused about what even is this and what's it meant to achieve. Whenever I think about Stellaris, I'm thinking about it on my PC with a few dozens of mods installed.
The relationship between this game and Stellaris is only skin deep. Nexus is a great game that stands on its own, with a very different style of gameplay to Stellaris. Less worldbuilding, more fun casual pvp gameplay.
@@peterhuston7888 im will not call it great. i can say i try some time, i try in multi balance not like stelalris and it sad in singiel bcs bots are dump cheat more that in other px games and can just randomly want you to die for all cost

It is a turn based strategy spin off based on board game mechanics like Twighlight Imperium is. Not a mobile version... Not part of the base game of stellaris. Use your brain?

After the debacle Paradox caused for Cities Skylines 2 (forcing it to be released when they knew for a fact it was nowhere close to being ready even for early access) and the past few months of Stellaris and the terrible overpriced DLC's they've dumped on us as cash grabs for years I can't justify spending any money at all on the games they publish. Thankfully the seas are clear with a lovely eastern breeze, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.

The trailer doesn't do this game justice. Nexus is a well-tuned labor of love that stands on its own. Easy to pickup, deep and difficult to master. I almost think the association with the haphazard mess that is Stellaris is an unfortunate stumbling block.
Actually a great game on it's own, shame that it flies under the radar.

Honestly dude, they're fundamentally different kinds of game, but Stellaris Nexus is 10 times deeper than Stellaris. Having played both games a bunch, they both have a large number of interacting mechanics, but in the original Stellaris, a lot of those mechanics are just irrelevant or it's trivial to work out the optimal way to handle them. In Stellaris Nexus, the systems all matter and interact in interesting ways. Stellaris is for roleplaying and worldbuilding, Nexus is the superior product for those who want an interesting multiplayer 4x.
