Paul was the original lead singer and designer of all their moves, but Otis Williams is and has always been the leader of the Temptations. This does not take away from Paul's legacy in the slightest, each of the original 5 Temps had their place and if you took any one of the original 5 away, it would not have been as successful. There is no need to build each of the original 5 beyond what they were, each were irreplaceable, and without the first 5, those that came after would have no foundation to build on.
A STUPID AND FALSE HEADLINE! He was a member of the greatest male group of all time, and was celebrated as such. Yes, David and Eddie's voices were on lead for most of their classic hits, but even they had to start solo careers to get individual fame.
She just kept going in circles not telling us any facts . Such as the position of the gun how he was dressed where he had been etc. A poor presentation at best. Must was said about nothing of how Paul died.
I'm Bill feilhauer, read my comment on paul, I've been a professional drummer most of my life. I backed up the temptations at the 73 festival in Cincinnati. I had just got back from Vietnam when the union called me. It was a one night fill in for Mel Brown their regular drummer. Eddie and Paul were gone. It was the high point of my drumming career. They were god givin sweet 💕
Paul Williams sung on a handful of songs but the one I like the most is "Don't Look Back" which went number 15 on the R&B charts, and number 83 on the hot 100 chart in 1965. It was the flip side to "My Baby".
He sang lead on a lot of the songs on the Meet the Temptations album , before David joined. He sang lead on some of the songs on the Gettin Ready album too, such as , Lonely, Lonely Man Am I, and Who You Gonna Run To, my favs on the album.
@@marvinwhittaker Even though I was very young when Meet the Temptations was out, I loved Slow Down Heart. Paul really should have been showcased more. And for the life of me, documentaries will mention his drinking but even Otis doesn’t mention Paul’s Sickle Cell Anemia, where he was often in a lot of pain.
@@alexandradillard2077 Otis Williams owes a lot to Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, and David Ruffin because their vocals sold the records. Otis couldn't sing that well. He did sing lead on one song "Don't Send Me Away" which is on the album "With A Lot O' Soul".

I always felt he was murdered. His case should he reopened. Rip Paul 🙏🏽 My favorite temptation
I believe that as well.

Everything she's saying is looped I couldn't finish.

Paul Williams was murdered period !!

She said all that and said nothing. Her statements were circular. Consequently the same thing constantly.
Absolute nothing, and all her videos are exactly the same 😂
My favorite TEMPTATION. I WAS INSPIRED TO BECOME AN ENTERTAINER BECAUSE OF PAUL WILLIAMS.
Thank you Sir
REST PEACEFULLY

Nonsense. Waste of time.
To many repetition statements. Misleading.

Way to much talking 😮
All she said is depicted in the movie .. waste of time
This is Ai bs. Alot of stuff talked about is not even about Paul. 😂😂
What a poor narrative. Repeating the same factless drivel, 10 different ways.
You should have a BA degree in redundancy……
