i swear this anime is so underrated. The songs are so unique and pleasant. Plus the characters have actual depth and aren’t like the usual idol girls whose whole character is based off of their desire to be an idol and act like perfect girls. These girls in 22/7 have actual development and serious events that caused them to turn out like how they are now.
Yeah. Akane (girl with the glasses) was going wild. I love that they don't synchronize the choreography at all. That makes it feel more raw or authentic and individualizes each character. Hope they'll do well. This could be BIG in the future.

Don’t get me wrong I love my cutesy over the top frilly idols but theirs just something so refreshing about seeing an idol group that looks and sounds “normal” it definitely makes them stand out in a great way
They did it on purpose I think. It’s to make the “hand drawn” effect that anime has. It’s also to make the low frame rate parts seem clean, because motion capturing can be stiff at times

I honestly love the songs,like the other idol groups’ song lyrics are all super cute and all about love and friendship but 22/7’ songs are deep and stuff. I just wish this song is on Spotify 😞
I definitely more accustomed to full 30/60 fps animation (ala Idolm@sters game series) rather than slow 3DCG animation trying to emulate handdrawn animation. I noticed that it is the case with some frames, most noticable at 3:50, where the animation is fluid for quite some time. The song itself is absolutely fantastic. The reff was absolutely jaw-dropping.
I know this is motion tracked but what can they do to make the frames more smooth? More budget for better motion tracking or is this something a computer can fix through rendering? Maybe the computer can generate more frames

I honestly love the songs,like the other idol groups’ song lyrics are all super cute and all about love and friendship but 22/7’ songs are deep and stuff. I just wish this song is on Spotify 😞

I definitely more accustomed to full 30/60 fps animation (ala Idolm@sters game series) rather than slow 3DCG animation trying to emulate handdrawn animation. I noticed that it is the case with some frames, most noticable at 3:50, where the animation is fluid for quite some time.
The song itself is absolutely fantastic. The reff was absolutely jaw-dropping.
I know this is motion tracked but what can they do to make the frames more smooth? More budget for better motion tracking or is this something a computer can fix through rendering? Maybe the computer can generate more frames

and the MV is amazing like, this is an animated work, they could have put them in any fantasy or imaginary place but nope, render the whole shibuya instead! the result is an impressive and convincing mood and tone. you know how makoto shinkai's animes took place in real places, this one gives the same vibe.
