Are tooltips just the explanations in game? Or is that soemthing else. Also how do I know when I go up against them?? Like how do I know what they do. Feel like you can only learn that with playing. But maybe I'll sit down one day and read all champion abilities like bedtime stories hahah
@@minuna_ yeah they are the explanations in game when you hover over them, tells you what they do stuff like how your thresh lantern can be thrown onto allies to have them tp to you as well as how they scale and what happens when you upgrade them
@@minuna_A lot of that comes with time. I'd look at the champion you intend to play beforehand, even write down the abilities, and then do the same as an exercise after games where a champion you don't understand dominates you due to lack of knowledge.
New to league and literally doesn't understand anything about the game. Still hates the wind brothers. She really is learning the game the correct way.
Master support player here: I've been playing league since 2012 where I started out at bronze 5 (lowest rank at that time) and grinded myself up over the years with constant improvement to where I am now. I could tell you several things about this game but the most important one is that improvement comes OVER TIME no matter how it seems in the moment. If you set your mind to improve you will, league is quite harsh game because that improvement may not be evident immediately, but trust me it is there. So don't become frustrated fast and keep to it! Anyways I wish you a lovely climb with a lot of entertainment and if you have any questions on the game I'll be happy to help :P
That's so nice thank you!!! I was warned about the toxic community in league but honestly it's been pretty alright and this comment is so helpful. I also noticed a lot that it's really game dependant and to not give up too fast. I've won a few games where we were down like 10 kills and still won :) but thank you I'll deffo come back to this if I need the help :D
this is peak content, makes me nostalgic to when i started playing, also love the sound effects on abilities and thresh autos as for tips, to improve fast its best to play only a few champions, because when you learn their abilities and dont need to think about what they do anymore, you can think more about the rest of the game but also as a new player I think its better to just play whatever you want and try absorb as much information about what other champs do, have fun first and focus on improvement when you feel like you know enough also, turtle
This is literally the biggest compliment omgg I fell down a rav rabbit hole and he's like the only league content creator i watch (I do need to find more tho) but since I'm still new to editing/yt and haven't found my "style" ig. I was also worried it was gonna seem like I copy him. It deffo has some inspiration from him tho, so shoutout to rav for being hsrdstuck for so long and therefore having so many videos lmaoo
@@minuna_ Well, most league content creators make educative content. Often just gameplay with live commentary about their decision-making. That’s good to learn from but not necessarily very entertaining. You obviously cannot do that. So taking Rav as an example is perfect for the kind of content an Iron-player can make. Some of his best videos were the ones where he picked the lowest ranked players of particular champs and commented their gameplay from their perspective. And you have the luxury of being able to produce the gameplay for that yourself! :D
If you want to climb, pick a role and then select 2 champs in your main role and just focus hard on mastering them. Have 1 champ in your secondary role you feel safe enough on to break even / do well. Limiting how many things you have to think about is key to improving on all the finer details of the game such as farming minions, champion spacing, and general map/game awareness, so having champions memorized and basically autopilot is huge. Hope it helps. Godspeed.
Btw on thresh, he is a scaling champ where minions and champions when killed drop souls and you can collect them by walking over them or with your w, this gives armor and AP
I was wondering what those were lmaoo ngl I thought it worked like minecraft exp and I would automatically collect it. But that's good to know, thank you :D

watching that first fight was something else, that flash away plus his flash into plus zyra0s flash (?) to somewhere was something else. Sometimes I miss my kills for flashs, your flash is your only scape tools for diving or when you're ganked so flash for a kill is worthless 9/10 times. Leona is a great suppot... if you know what your skills do, easy explanation? it's all in champ. her e stuns for the duration of the dash, her q stuns and her R stuns, so your objetive? stick to your enemy like a filthy cockroach will the ADC loads all the damage. Your secret? your W reduces incoming damage by 20% (40% late game) based on armor and MRand if they think they can kill you? once it's done channeling (the gold line that runs around the skill box) it explodes and deals magic damage depeding of how much you've sustained. So she can literally go all in between all enemies and survive with proper items and do tons of damage if they stick to her rather than the squishies. Problem with the setting is that brand is a great counter pick since he's also all damage. (i'd recomend something like pantheon that can garantee full damage and safe scape at level 3) Tresh is a pretty pro champ, his passive makes is so he gets more armor and more damage the more souls he gets (green thing floating around) He's not like nautilus or blitz, his q has 2 elements, the first is the animation of the Q, and if you press q agains you go to the enemy location where the idea is that you can press e to send them fliying. The combo idea is (if you're a pro player) trow the lamp next to your ADC, hook the enemy ADC, drag yourself to the enemy ADC, your ADC click on the lamp and goes fliying to your location, press R and E (the R borders slow and damage) so now the enemy ADC has no place to scape and 2 major enemies on their face) and execute with both damage (vary depending of the enemy ADC, if they have flahs or dashes) Late game Tresh could easily take 3 champ full damage and give it back with his AA only. PD: The lamp grants a small shield, that shit can saves lives.

I am a Masters coach who can definitely help you with some foundational things if you are interested. Just let me know I promise I will be beginner friendly and not teach you things way above your skill level at the moment.

@@arkeantus5397Most of the time not climbing higher ranks comes down to mechanics alone. I myself have a decent knowledge of the game, but I can't get out of Bronze 1/Silver 4 because I admit my mechanics are pathetic. I cannot space correctly, I cannot farm and trade at the same time, I cannot step skillshots and so so on. This leads me to get completely destroyed by better players. I never understood how'd you get mechanically better at this game, I've come to believe that you're either born with it or not.
@@yrxsxi promise you that’s not the case. Anyone can improve as long as they have guidance and the will to get better and go through painful moments. Some players are naturally better mechanically typically when they have a high level gaming background or even high level in sports. Getting better at league is mindset and commitment to the process. You don’t get better by just playing anymore you need to put in extra effort and its really fucking hard to get good but I know it’s possible. People will make you feel like you’re bad or worthless because of your rank but I’ve been there too and it’s really hard to develop this skills that people at my elo take for granted.
