Follow the “how to strip stem” video for the top half of the stem. The bottom half is just swapping the controller out of the old stem and into new stem. It’s easy - you’ll figure it out. 😀
Can the inner tube be replaced when you remove the tire like this? Seems the wiring gives very little room to work. Do you have a video showing the replacement of the inner tube with the tire still attached to the wiring harness? Thank You
Yes there are but we don’t recommend them as the quality of the ride is so poor. To prevent punctures keep your tyre pressure up - it needs to be checked weekly.
Soak it over night with WD-40 or similar. If it still doesn't move heat it up with a blow torch, let it cool then try. Also use a pipe over end of spanner to give extra torque.
is there a video out there explaining how to install a brand new one? I need to replace mine with a new tire and I'm not confident ill be able to know where the wiring goes and stuff.
my decent one (model one) scooters front tyre doesn't have a reflective strip. Its a thick hard plastic reflector. I have tried to pry it out but it feels like its going to shatter
As i said previously… its not a strip. Its a thick hard plastic reflector that seems to be glued into place. I had to break it off and when i did the two small holes seem to be done in the same manner
i have a question about my decent x7, im getting no power but the battery works fine as ive tried it in another x7 scooter, i was wondering if you had any idea what it could be? i was thinking maybe the power button on the throttle

Okay thats the wheel with the wire right? Is it easy to take old one of replace with new one? Just looked at a quick video and looked pretty complicated 🙄
Is it possible to remove the side reflectors without damaging the sticky pads or do you have to get new reflectors each time? Where can I buy these reflectors?
TurboAnt sucks for not having an electrical connector on that line, like all scooter makers who don't suck have. 😏 My cable doesn't have the slack that yours does, of course. The reason I am having to change the tire is because turboant does not inflate their tires and therefore does not test their inner tubes when they ship the scooter. so when I inflated my tire to 33 PSI it did not hold air because the inner tube was defective. so I am having to change the inner tube before I can even use the new scooter. Turboant offers nothing, when I called. Don't buy a turboant.
There is no customer service or warranty when you purchase many brands of scooter. We used to stock Turboant but whenever there was a warranty claim they would make things so difficult we gave up in the end. Always best to purchase from the country you live in as should be backed by warranty.
@@deadpoetztampa Yeah, that the only way of adding sealant, you can't add it with air in the tyre. Take valve core out, add sealant, put core back in pump up, scoot, If you have had a puncture then replace tube or mend puncture first. Yes it can. Put the tube on from the opposite side to the cables. Or just disconnect it but that's more work.

It unplugs from the controller. Very easy, take photos as you go along if in sure 👍

My small screw stripped after some time, anyway how to get some replacements?
Sorry not sure what size they are.
Head down to your local hardware store, if they don’t have the exact screw, they’ll at least have something similar (same size different finish)
my decent one (model one) scooters front tyre doesn't have a reflective strip. Its a thick hard plastic reflector. I have tried to pry it out but it feels like its going to shatter
The screws are under the reflective strip. It's just a bit of tape and will peal off.
As i said previously… its not a strip. Its a thick hard plastic reflector that seems to be glued into place. I had to break it off and when i did the two small holes seem to be done in the same manner
How do I remove to the break line to access the tire free
Just remove the cable

What about the back wheel, I have an X8 and the tyre popped so I want to replace it with a solid tyre, they're 10 inch
Please check channel as there is a video for that. But we don't suggest replacing with solid tyre as the ride quality is poor.
@@niteblaster1 Yup, you'll also get sore hands and wrist.... so don't do it.... cars don't have solid wheels for a reason 😀
One of the nuts on mine was tightened on so tight that the washer below it was deformed and now I can’t get it off. Any ideas?
Try spraying penetrating oil (WD-40) and leave overnight. If that fails try heating with blowtorch. Also use leverage on the spanner if possible.

what size of solid tire you use??

If everything was working ok before you fix the puncture then there may be a loose connection somewhere.

for some reason the axle nuts just won’t come off
They can be tight. Try to create extra torque by using long handle on spanner/wrench, using old pipe etc
This worked great, the tire was a bitch to put back on. Tires that small always are a struggle lol

Why'd they make it suck so hard to inflate
It shouldn't be difficult to inflate. If you can't get the pump on easily carefully bend the valve out from the wheel.
