I'm not a metal guy. This song is so transitional, that is makes people like me love it. There are only 2-3 songs from that genre that inspire me, and this is one of them.
Just found out he is 5’3 and I always thought he was huge like Wolverine that is how powerful his voice and attitude were. I am 5’6 and had I known his height back in the day before the internet etc he would have been even a bigger hero to me😂
I was watching one of The hangover movies and this song came on and I had to hear it I haven't heard it in so long I love his voice Love love love sounds a little Jim Morrison esque Some similarities for sure
One of the best heavy metal songs in history!
Never gets old, rock n roll, man
I'm not a metal guy.

Because this song had influences on punk rock, that sound makes the song so much dinamic
Listen to Her Black Wings, Evil Thing, and Possession by Danzig. Really good and along the lines of Mother
@@gunnymaru2900 Thanks, I'll check it out.
Elvis, Jim Morrison, Danzig 😉
Nobody takes Glen Danzig more seriously than Glen Danzig.
I'd always heard Jim Morrison channeling through "Mother!"
This is the first metal song I ever heard in my life. I remember hearing it because my cousin loved Danzig. After hearing mother, I was a fan.
Deam, a old diamond on UA-cam! ;)
Still hard as fuck

Hugh Hackman Wolverine that is..
@askandyanything nah the real wolverine is 5’3 Hugh jackman is 6’2 which is the Hollywood wolverine not the OG!
@askandyanything that’s one of the reasons glen was a huge fan of wolverine not the current wolverine but the real comic book wolverine
Too few comments for the greatest masterpiece
You speak the truth 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Its funny how most folks dont know that Mother was Danzigs way of calling the Democrats fascists. (It was aimed specifically at one person, but still)
I didn't realize that, until I heard that interview. Thank you PMRC.
Yeah the BPM video brought me here too.
The old rock n roll boys are the ones keeping the record labels alive.
1992 great fkn year 🤘💣💥
The worst part about this song is there's no other song that can match it on a playlist. Just gotta loop Danzig
Add this to that playlist, not a Metallica original, but still a great song....

NOT ASKING
Too many people calling this metal lol
Never heard this live I guess?
I would say Heavy Metal 🤘
I bet you think Metal is a bunch of tatted up stringbean dweebs screaming into a mic. Educate yourself, poser
It is metal, just more of a hard rock / metal fusion typical of the early days of metal.
i don’t need to know the genre, this song is gold!!!!😊
It's old school metal. Before metal had sub genres. Learn history, it helps. Nothing fits neatly into a modern mold.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a dork.
