crazy to think it's been more than a year since y'all dropped this already! coming back, it's such a small thing but i love the double-stick rim hits (not sure of the actual technique name because im a bad drummer) in the drum solo at 5:06. it reminds me of the percussive work in the jr. sneki/croco levels (original song is called "kerning city: jungle book"). im not sure if it was intentional but it immediately jumped out to me and felt like an awesome callback. this cover is still so damn good.
