Sooner or later, a ship would have hit it. After the disaster of the Sunshine Skyway in 1980, the sheer idiocy of bridge supports with no protective bumpers was clear. Sure, the ship operator was at fault, but the bridge was a sitting duck.
Something like tariffs (say, 200%) on Singapore imports should get the government there to pressure the necessary people to pay all damages and restitution. I bet a shrewd negotiator as President could pull that off. A well-seasoned businessman... I bet we have someone like that running for President right now! No need for all these other legal shenanigans and delays.
PTSD? Oh please. Man up. I have seen and or handled over 100 fatalities in my career. Tragedy happens in our world. We need people who can come in and try and fix it.
I also don't see the comparison between near death experience in a traumatic disaster and whatever it is you do for a living that causes you to routinely "handle fatalities". Your statement and logic is "wrong" as per your namesake on here. And I'll tell you what, if you work in the medical field... I hope you don't. Because we don't need people like you that lack empathy as you demonstrate here.
@@WasThatWong If by unique and beautiful (as Tyler Durden would say), I'll agree that I am a snowflake. But I'm not cold like ice, so perhaps I'm not a snowflake.
It's not taxpayer's fault, so don't even try to bill us!
Corporations should be held accountable for their actions.
Accident .. sure
Maryland is a stupid place with stupid politicians and should be held accountable for their actions.

I’m 25 years old and I have PTSD.
Duct tape tub runs into toothpick Mona Lisa. You got your peanut butter in my chocolate
Totally understood. 👍
The Government was in on it...Covering their BUTTS.🤣🤣🤣
It wasn’t a collapse, why do you people keep saying that. A ship purposely ran into a vital thoroughfare, cutting off a major interstate route.
There was no intent. Or are you holding some super duper secret evidence? What would be the purpose of knocking out the bridge?

He has a claim for legal liability. He didn't sign up to experience that trauma. You did. Get over yourself and learn some empathy and compassion.
