No wonder he is the best,the distinct sound and precise touch and the sound of the shobud. Todays steel guitar players should really acknowledge the likes of Lloyd and buddy emmons and others for their contributions.

Yes, Lloyd Green said one time. "Jerry Byrd said, there is two ways to play a Steel Guitar: 1. From brain to hands. Or 2. From brain through heart, to hands". And that's Lloyd forever.
Then Jerry said, this is how to play Music: "Melody, Melody and Melody"! And that's Lloyd! Etc!
Yes, Lloyd was one of the Greatest SG players Ever. Of course "the" greatest was "Buddy Emmons". May Jesus rests their precious Souls.

Used to own this album..lost in a fire a few years ago. Lloyd Green has always been one the classiest and nicest steel guitar players in the industry. So thankful for his wonderful talent and thanks for sharing this!! 😊
