You know its amazing to watch the bond you have with your Cockatoo . The thing is, that I noticed is, how calming you talk to him, and how you treat him with great respect. I am getting my first bird in May I put a deposit .I am getting an Indian Ring Neck and I hope I can train the bird to be social and talkative,but I can tell you have to be committed, and a true animal lover. I had two Jack Russels there both gone now I had one for 17 years ,and the other was 12 years old and just died recently ,so I know what it means to be committed and responsible when it comes to pets. I never had a bird ,so I hope all goes well when I get the bird.
Ohh sorry for your loss. Birds are very different from dogs but with love you can do it! Joseph is our very first bird as well. We have learnt a lot of things some by researching and some by the hard way. Please do a lot of research as bird sickness or needs are harder to tell compared to dogs. We wish u good luck and wish u raise a happy bird!!! 💕 thank you for being Joseph's fan 😘

That is actually a male peacock. Females (peahens) are very drab, with dull colors that help them blend in and hide with the eggs/babies, and they don't have those huge tails. The males look like that for display, to attract a mate (which is a common theme throughout the bird world).
What a beautiful outing! He didn't want to give the ducks his food...sounded like he asked for water when you sat at the bench (in memory of Ruth). I was laughing because it looked like he was going to go find some🤣🤣. I ❤️ Joseph fan!

this cockatoo is very happy! Cockatoo's and other birds and wild animals are losing their homes more and more because of land being taken for building. Joseph was already born and this beautiful couple made a great home for Joseph with lot's of love and I'm happy for Joseph
Joseph is really happy with the music...and wanted to let you know that the peacock with the beautiful feathers is not a SHE...only male peacocks have the beautiful feathers....that's a MALE. The female was the one with no big feathers that HE was courting when he opened his feathers.
British Columbia is probably the most beautiful Province in the Canada. I loved my 6 week work related stay there and will never forget how welcoming and kind people were . Have a great day ES and little Joseph💞💗💞

BTW, it would have been so wonderful if you could add subtitles on some videos, so we could understand what he is saying. It is not easy to understand cockatoos, they mumble a lot... But it seems like family members understand their own bird... 😊
