Yep, the EV tax incentive is uniquely “bad” for Tesla because Musk uniquely had the balls to reimagine and scale EV production when everyone else tiptoed into the pool. So now Musk has a discriminating position regarding brand establishment and cost per unit that NO ONE else can touch, except companies subsidized by the PRC government. So if the US Government wants to actually compete in this foundational space with the PRC, it needs to lean TOWARD Tesla. Fortunately, November should mark a sharp turn in that direction 👍
