In reply to Maruku86, I think she does a fantastic job of the pronuciation, at least u can hear all the words, yes she maybe Maori it doesn't necessarily mean she is fluent in the language, I think we need to encourage more people to use it rather then knocking them for how they use it, and another thing, at least she takes it to the world, and hasn't forgotten who she is and where she comes from!
not really.....most older maori people don't say all the maori words right. my koro was (dead) 82 and for his whole life said maari instead of maori plus this song is rather....short & detached so she'd need to punch the words.....
