You seem to switch back and forth between English and German so effortlessly, it would be hard for people to tell which one was your native language. Your Pfannkuchen looked pretty tasty, it almost looked like it had a French toast kind of consistency to it, like it might be on the sweet side. I've never had them with chocolate syrup (I'm guessing)? I'll have to try that. We have 50 zillion Maple trees in Wisconsin (It's pretty much southern Canada here), so I always get some maple syrup bought from a local farm and usually make them with cinnamon or blueberries.
