Giving renters credit means that the timely payments people make for rent every month will count towards their credit scores. Increased credit score can help get you a lower interest rate from the bank when you want to buy a home.

Which is happening in the east coast right now. Our rent for a one bedroom apartment in New Brunswick is going up to the point noone can pay for them. We have the lowest minimum wage in Canada and one of the highest food costs. JT is living in a fantasy world
