  • Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, Alexander Graham Bell, Albert Einstein and now.... Mark Jenzen... How to determine who the greatest inventors in history were is often a passionate and, at times, even a heated debate. However, we hope this quick DIY video puts Mark Jenzen at the top of the list.
We all know these DJL bulbs are not only expensive, running $100-200 each, but they take forever to ship and can arrive busted. Using some pretty inexpensive materials, a little bit of tinkering and some basic knowledge of circuits, we can build a projector bulb to watch those old Super 8 movies right now! Let’s go!!!

Will this work for a Kodak SuperShowtime model a25 bulb? Tension for the kodak one is said to be 21 v and the B&H is 24 v.
Would it be right to put in a LED bulb instead of the halogen?

What is the appropriate wire to connect to each part of lightbulb polarity wise?

I love this tutorial. I have the Bell and Howell Autoload 487Z that my parents purchased decades ago. The original bulb still works as it has been left in storage for a very long time. Once this bulb dies, I will definitely try your tutorial. Thank you for helping us save hundreds of dollars on bulbs.
