9:37 if we dont include the data from part a) do we just put all the values as normal but leave a blank space for the parts where no data is available or do we write it as normal?
If it has n/a then it cannot be included at all - we're looking at the relationship between two variables, so a missing part stops us being able to investigate the relationship at all.
Hello Sir quick question, : how do you know to type w or g as x or y in the calculator. So how would you know not to put g values into x bracket for the calculator entry. Thanks!
7:50 my graphics calculator keeps giving me a different PMCC of r=0.8556… I checked that I’ve inputted the right values so I’m not quite sure why I think there might be something wrong with the settings of the calculator?
guess they never ended up doing that stats exam then 🤣
hahaha 😂😂

You usually put the independent variable as x. But for PMCC it actually won’t make a difference which way round you do them! Try it!
@@BicenMaths Oh, youre right, thanks sir
It should be y-hat = a + bx, y and y-hat are different. When writing a linear regression model you use the predicted y value which is y-hat
Is Spearman's rank correlation coefficient in A level maths? , i did it for gcse statistics so im assuming it is but i cant find anything about it.
No, it isn't - it's in Further Stats 2, in Further Maths!
@@BicenMaths oh that's cool. I'm doing FS1 and FM1 next year when I start FM, so I won't see it again it seems
Nice - I'm guessing you mean FS1 and FM1 right? One of my favourite combos, I'd say. @@reload2832

Oh no! I am not sure how to help on this one - you could try doing a full reset?!
thank you!
