So like, the scene where Eren tackles the foot of the colossal actually isn’t realistic, as Eren’s Titan form should reach higher than the ankle of the colossal because the attack Titan is 15m tall and the colossal is 60m. Therefore, Eren’s Titan should be 1/4 as tall as the colossal
But it could also be because eren wasn't saving his energy, because when they were walking through a forest inside wall maria, mikasa says "eren you supposed to save you energy" meaning that he isn't saving his energy.
1:08 Wrong. In episode 25 of season 1, in the mid episode card, there's a story about a miner who tried to escape via a tunnel under the wall... he dug deep, but when he reached the base of the wall, he couldn't pass because there was a wall under the ground as well, so hard that he broke the shovel when he struck the wall with it. The wall titans have their feet buried, therefore they're likely the same size as the original Colossal Titan.

Man I'm so mad bertholdt never really had a solid backstory I'm tired of seeing people shit all over him and cheer his death when Armin was eating him.
SAME! Isayama never gave bertholdt (like annie) a backstory or enough screen time with other characters (like reiner) pre marley arc. And while it works to make him go unnoticed as the colossal one, it also makes the casual public feel no empathy for him. I know isayama doesn't hate him, but shit if it looks like he does, because he even makes eren point to bert as the reason why armin is useless, and while we know it's absurd from what we saw of bert in rts arc, again someone who casually watches the anime will not think twice about thinking that he is right. And in the end, the two people he loved the most (annie, for whom he lost the coordenade in season two) and Reiner (for whom he loses the battle and his life in shingashina), never really remember him. Ouro Boros Bertohlt was a child doing a mission, do you even know what would happen to him if he failed. he'd probably get dishonest eaten, and his family probably would of had a pretty bad fate too. He was a brainwashed child who was told that what he was doing was right. If you watch the anime you wouldn't understand, but in the manga, Bertohlt wasn't such a bad guy. The anime portrayed him as an evil guy who didn't care about his friends (when they were at shiganshina). While in the manga, he seems much more like a guy who wanted to go home.
I hope everyone sees this comment, Isayama revealed that the wall titan's feet were buried under the ground making them the same height as the colossal titan himself, he told a story about how a man tried to dig under the wall but him something hard, I saw the story in one of the cut screens in aot but I forgot which episode, im probably the only one who read it XD
Apart from Armin being Eren's friend, it was easier for him to command that weak link instead of Erwin. For me it was part of the plan in the long run.
I know it shouldn't bother me, but Eren's Attack Titan is supposed to be 15M tall, whereas the Colossal is supposed to be 60M tall. That being said, how is Eren not even close to 1/4 of Bertholdt's size during their fight in Shiganshina?
well technically only eren turned into a collossal titan. Ymir Fritz had her founder titan form shown only. as for Uri, Grisha and frieda we saw their "normal" titans.
Thanks for watching, I just released a special “what if” video for AOT that you definitely want to check out after this! ua-cam.com/video/KVq2ESecrUs/v-deo.html EDIT: Btw thanks to the comments I found out something I didn’t know about the wall titans before I made this video. There’s an infographic in season 1 (aka those cards that briefly appear onscreen) that tells a story about a miner; that story implied the walls go deep underground. I’d personally never read that card before. But anyway it means the wall titans are likely the *same height* as the colossal. My bad!
you forgot the colossal titan in a ending of season 2, the titan match the description of the colossal as it was very tall, have long skinny arms and it was bald, also it couldn't be one of Karl Fritz colossal titans because this was the fall of the Marleyan city Lago, which is 1.200 years ago from the Karl Fritz creation.
The wall titans are sixty meters tall. The wall is fifty meters tall off of the ground, but in a short story (told in one of AoT's intermission cards) about a miner who tried to dig a tunnel under wall Sina, it is revealed that the wall extends 10-20 meters underground. Meaning that the wall titans are in fact partly underground. P.S the reason i say 10-20 meters is that, as we see with the titan that Annie uncovers, their heads don't reach the very top of the wall (roughly 3-5 meters bellow it) so more room needs to be made at the bottom than just the remaining 10 meters + yet more at the bottom for hardened titan wall beneath them.
Because the Thunderspears and Anti-titan artillery pierce Reiner's armor. Force that is applied to a single point in comparison to a wide spread based attack is a lot stronger.
The wall titans are 60m tall, they have their legs 10m deep into the ground. It somewhat explains it in the mid-episode texts of the 1st season's laste episode.
no, their max height is the walls height because the wall was created instantly with hardening around them so it wouldn’t have been long enough for them to sink
@@M1ZY4N I am telling you cause in the middle text screens that were shown in the finale of s1 there was a story where a miner tried to dig under the walls and found something that his pickaxe wasnt able to mine....
I remember reading a theory. What if; All the wall colossal titans, are actually ancient colossal titans, summoned by karl Fritz the 145th king. There is however one criticism. According to AOT lore: 1) the walls contained millions of colossal titans. There are 3 walls. Based on my brief calculations, Maria is 480km in radius, rose is 380km, and sina is 250km. The circumference in order is then 3015km, 2387km, and 1570km. In meters, that's times by 1000, so we have 3015000m, 2387000m, and 1570000m. The colossal titans are 60 meters tall, and on average, around 30 meters in width. In the walls, they are huddled together, so if we divide the circumference of the walls in meters, by 30 meters width of each colossal titan, we get these values in order: 100500 colossals in maria. 79566 in rose. And 52333 in sina. In total, that's around 232399 approximate number of colossal titans altogether in the walls. So in actuality, there is around two hundred and thirty-two thousand colossal titans approximately in the walls. 2) based on the reign of the titans for 2000 years, with an additional 100 years after karl renounced war (and into the ending of AOT), that's 2100 years that the titan powers have existed, with a 13 year life expectancy for titan shifters. A basic calculation shows that in the period of 2100 years, 161 colossal titan shifters have existed. Although, this number could be bigger, assuming not all inheritors had lived their full life expectancy to the end of their terms. So perhaps around 200 colossal titans maximum may have existed in the 2100 years. With that, we get 200 + 232399 colossal titans that have existed in total of 232599 approximately. 3) with this data. It can be assumed unlikely that a lot of past colossal titan shifters were resurrected to make up construction of the walls, let alone set the rumbling. But it is still a possibility, since eren summoned Bertholt's titan form on his own back. And for all we know, maybe 200 past colossal titan shifters were leading the charge of the rumbling? Or something?
@@TheForsaken666 what does 10 meters of their feet being buried under the walls, have to do with the total numbers of colossal titans (pure and shifters altogether) within the walls, and in existence?
Now I know why Bert was given with collosal, it's because of his indecisiveness and lack of initiative. Maybe Marley was afraid that the other candidates might use it against Marley given that they don't trust the Marley and can think of their own.
There was a big error from the scene with eren hugging the leg of the colossus titan. Its sixty metres and eren is fifteen metres so shouldn't eren be up to nearly the knee of the colossus titan.
@Mr. Att4ck I know but it still looks really weird. Like he shouldn't be that small in terms of actual body. He should still look Thicc but in this case he looks like a mouse

I could imagine the last battle between Eren vs Armin was Epic!!! I’m excited to see it in the big screen🤩🤩🤩 Well it will take a wile till that happens
0:21 actually i think the reason they didn't fight is because Bertholdth needed the energy to transform when the survey corps arrived, also i think his transformation might just leave a crater from his nuke transform which could be a disadvantage for them. And yeah the colossal is too op for monke
You're correct on him needing the energy to transform. Considering the size of the colossal titan, it takes a lot of energy to transform and wouldn't be able to transform right away again after returning to human form, unlike some of the other titan shifters. Plus, I think Zeke being highly intelligent he'll know the weaknesses and strengths of the Colossal titan and devise a strategy to take it down. Heck, he can probably take it down just by throwing a stone fast enough to penetrate it nape killing the shifter outright.
Uh I don’t think that the wall titans are shorter, there was a intermission panel which was a wall of text that told the story of a guy who wanted to live inside of wall sina so he decided to dig under and it went down for miles and miles and until he he hit solid surface below him👀 then he gave up told a friend about it and the friend also mentioned it and they both went missing
The Wall Titans aren't shorter, they are sunk ten meters into the ground, as explained in that mysterious mid-episode info card in the season 1 finale.
I think it's interesting that Eren's Colossal Titan was able to use hardening, cause I heard people speculate that some titans simply couldn't harden. It could have just been because Eren was the Founding Titan and could've done whatever he wanted, but it isn't the first time we've seen one user with abilities another user didn't have, Ymir's Jaw Titan had very simple speech, however when it was passed down to Galliard later in the series his titan couldn't speak, he had to exit his titan to talk with Pieck during the battle at Liberio. If speech is something that only manifests with certain users, than it's possible that hardening is an ability all nine of the titans have, but certain shifters simply can't access, after all, we've only seen three Colossal Titans in the entire series, which isn't a very good sample size
Correct me if I am wrong but I'm thinking Armin caught feelings for Annie was because it was Bertholdt's last, most powerful emotion before being eaten by Armin. For me, Annie will always be Bertholdt's girl.
The wall titans are about 60 meters as well. Heard about a side story of a guy that tried to dig under the walls and that about 10 meters of them seemed to be below ground
those in the wall might do the same size as the founding one, because when you build the foundation of a wall you never pull it "on" the floor, but a bit in, so it's stable
at 4:13 actually it was shown that eren was controlling dina fritz and telling it to eat his mom so he can go on the path of wanting to kill all titans and have the motivation from his mom

im pretty sure that the reason why the wall titans were shorter than berthold and armins titans is because of how they need to put their feet and legs into the ground to insure that the walls would be stable and not fall over and crush the eldians
I was JUST thinking about when you would do a video on the colossal titans before Bertholdt. Also, is it just me or did our generation of titans have the best designs? I think Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt, Eren, Zeke, Warhammer, and Marcel/ Porco (not really Ymir) have to coolest designs which is convenient for us the viewer to be terrified of them.

And in the end, the two people he loved the most (annie, for whom he lost the coordenade in season two) and Reiner (for whom he loses the battle and his life in shingashina), never really remember him. Also his father, his reason to be a warrior, die. Forget what I said, isayama must hate this boy

Yeah they are of equal size as of the COLLASAL TITAN
The Wall Titans are 60m it’s confirmed in the prequel manga Before the Fall that their feet are underground
That's why when a minerwent to escape underground he's shovel hit something "hard" then broke.
Am I the only one still wondering how did Reiners titan survive the nuke from Bertolt and a cannon but can’t survive a blowy stick?
Because the Thunderspears and Anti-titan artillery pierce Reiner's armor. Force that is applied to a single point in comparison to a wide spread based attack is a lot stronger.
It’s basically if you throw air all around it will not make much difference but at only one point it is stronger
it's comparable to getting hit with a sneaker vs getting hit with a high heal
Also, the armored titan is the only one that can withstand the transformation explosion of the colossal
fun fact, Armin's colossal Titan didn't have ears.
He did not wanna hear the screams of those dying in the blast.

The wall titans are 60m tall, they have their legs 10m deep into the ground. It somewhat explains it in the mid-episode texts of the 1st season's laste episode.

When you realise those Red Guys are more in number than normal titans
I remember reading a theory. What if;
All the wall colossal titans, are actually ancient colossal titans, summoned by karl Fritz the 145th king. There is however one criticism.
According to AOT lore:
1) the walls contained millions of colossal titans.
In the walls, they are huddled together, so if we divide the circumference of the walls in meters, by 30 meters width of each colossal titan, we get these values in order:
100500 colossals in maria.
Bruh...those collossal titans in the walls are just pure titans the size of collossal titans, with their feet buried in the ground
@@TheForsaken666 what does 10 meters of their feet being buried under the walls, have to do with the total numbers of colossal titans (pure and shifters altogether) within the walls, and in existence?

The wall titans are actually 60 meters. It’s just that they’re partially underground, making them 50 meters above ground but 60 in total

Can't wait for the all founding titans explained😀😀😀
I think it's interesting that Eren's Colossal Titan was able to use hardening, cause I heard people speculate that some titans simply couldn't harden. It could have just been because Eren was the Founding Titan and could've done whatever he wanted, but it isn't the first time we've seen one user with abilities another user didn't have, Ymir's Jaw Titan had very simple speech, however when it was passed down to Galliard later in the series his titan couldn't speak, he had to exit his titan to talk with Pieck during the battle at Liberio. If speech is something that only manifests with certain users, than it's possible that hardening is an ability all nine of the titans have, but certain shifters simply can't access, after all, we've only seen three Colossal Titans in the entire series, which isn't a very good sample size
the feet of the wall titans are dug up 10 meters below so it makes them 50 meters tall and when they came out they became 60 meters again
