Don't know why capcom changed the yamato sword slash effects. The boss one is far better especially boss vergil's version of rapid slash is much more cooler with more and larger slash effects than what we got.

I noticed that the default effects look rather good in the PS5 version with rtx - but on PC where we don't get the enhanced lighting the effects look really dull. Fortunately, on PC we have mods so we can self-fix :)

I think because of Consoles, too much particle effects going on on top of the RT GFX. Plus they added Turbo mode and LDK that would make Consoles get rekt even if it's Series X or PS5. Plus it's easy for the normies ? Idk. DMC is niche and I love the game for it's super rich style and fantastic gameplay which is timeless.

Performance. But i know “tHe EfFeCtS fOr ThE bOsS aRe DifFeReNt” you have to take the mission/stage you are on in which case you are on a flat repeat texture for the boss and the other enemies can cause problems

Man, what would've been cool was if the Concentration meter was at level 2, we'd get the boss VFX for Yamato. The non-modded Judgment Cuts look kinda bland without the blue coloring, and I feel like CM level 2 would fix that

I'd say summoned swords and judgment cut look the coolest with boss effects, but I think I prefer the current effects with playable Vergil 'cause it's not bright and blinding. I sometimes have trouble exceeding with Nero during DT 'cause his wings tend to obscure his attacks.

We can clearly see the difference between playable Vergil and boss Vergil, boss Vergil has darker blue colors, his summoned swords are more complete, and he has different sound effects, and playable Vergil his colors are more cyan blue, his sounds are poorer, and his summoned swords are more ghostly. In conclusion, I feel that playable Vergil reduced those details so as not to match Nero's blue color, and for budget I think

I believe you can do it. Previously, I thought the same way as you think now, and still I've mastered it. It won't take much time if you understand how perfect JC works.

You can only do 3 if you start off with a perfectly timed jc. If you hold the jc longer, you can then spam jc more

@@jason_yh_lim yeah it's really lacking on the extra side of things with barley any "good" fight music (about only 2 per person and in my opinion of course) and no alternate outfits. Not sure but I think this is the first good game where you can't play as dmc1 Dante
it's even worse for us PS4 players who can't get mods or legendary dark knight.

In all honesty, I'd rather have Boss Vergil, with all his assets and perks, playable than the DLC Vergil, who is, in many senses, rather underwhelming.

i think that he's quite busted on DLC,not only can he just spam divine dragon to deal shit tons of damage,he is also the only character who can use 4 ultimate skills in one SDT bar.

@@motivatedemon But putting all the minor additions and changes aside, he's basically a copy-paste from DMC4SE. When you fight his BOSS version or play as him (BOSS ver), Yamato feels unique, here, it doesn't feel that special, like it's "only 1 weapon in his melee arsenal". Also, no, not changing weapons doesn't change the fact that Yamato lost its' "uniqueness" in Vergil's arsenal. It's just my personal taste though, but I prefer the BOSS version

Boss JC and player JC have different sound effects. One of the mods I'm using lets me have boss JC sound effect instead of the player one.

some mods are not working together, for example JC and Summon Swords, and some like JCE don't work with anything

Order often matters, try enabling the mods in different orders.

@@manuelaomg I can't remember. But basically mods installed later may override parts of previously installed mods, so you should roughly install mods with more important effects last.
