I’m a full time instacart shopper and it works great for me. I would try other gigs but my strategy is to prioritize good batches in terms of low mileage and good tips. I’ll only take long miles (like, 6 or more) when batches pay $40 at least.
That's a good plan to have when it comes to Instacart, I wish batches in my area were more frequent because majority of the time, they are really low paying.
Hi ash. Your videos have helped me so much. I wanted to know if shoppers can collect points with their own points card or not? Such as PC optimum points? Most of the time the cashiers ask if you are collecting points and i usually say no.

Hi Ash, nice to see you. I finally got on platform after 2 year wait. Been two weeks and haven't accepted one. Too many miles, too many items for low payouts. Long time no see, Ash lol actually, I haven't been on here much the past week or so, due to not feeling well lately, but getting better. This sounds like pretty good advice. Things are kinda picking up on DoorTrash for me. I've started using a new metric for accepting orders. I really don't do the $/mile(km for you) anymore. I'm now using more of a $/minute metric. I've gotten my AR up to about 65% now, and the offers are really getting better. I'm able to make what I used to make in 4 hours in about 3 hours now. Have a good one, Ash!
Hey Kenny! Sorry you haven't been feeling well but glad to know you're doing better. I also use the $ per minute metric a lot. It's easier and if you are constantly chasing the distance you can lose out on some serious money for sure.
I’ve been starting after 12 noon and my pay has decreased from about $1200 a week down to about 800. They don’t give me batches when I start after 12. I’m sitting here for an hour and a half still waiting for my first batch, but it’s busy their shoppers all over the store busy It’s like they punish you for starting later, which doesn’t make any sense
I wouldn't be surprised if they did because they are greedy enough to make us feel the heat but additionally, if I am being honest, I do find shopping orders come in more around the more times for seniors, so is it possible you are not seeing as many orders from seniors?
Well Instacart always being what it is very cheap groceries but I do get some luck once I a while but UberX is starting to be more lucrative in my area

@@DashWithAshinCanada Instacart varies so much where I'm at in Boise, Idaho. Tuesday i made $28, meanwhile I made $270 yesterday. Crazy.

Usually there are a lot of batches coming out around 8AM for Walmart and around 9AM for COTSCO...Good to see you back :)
That's very true! I like Costco way more than Walmart batches but it's definitely a morning thing for the good ones.
