- It's amazing what you can get done when you do an episode you actually like and have a whole bunch of ideas. Pretty proud of this one actually. Gonna try and pump these out after the long layoff.

You have NO idea how big of a smile I cracked when you said that and the music played. That's one of the reasons this has become one of my favorite episodes.
Oh my god you have no idea how much I laughed when you played FMA and FMAB. I am a hopeless, hopeless fanatical FMA fan (I think I might need...help) and you mentioning it just sent me into so much euphoria you have NO IDEA.
OHFMA WHY MUST YOU TORTURE ME SO WITH YOUR AWESOMENESS.
Also, the cheetah with a mustache is right up there in the top funniest moments in this entire show, Along with "clams with...feet?", "Antauri, your FACE! What happened to YOUR FACE?!" "...and you look FANATASTIC!",

Also, Brotherhood is based more closely on the manga then the first anime, which WAS around before SRMTHG, so it's very possible that even though Brotherhood came out years later it could be an FMA reference. :D

Now, when I look at this again after a long time, so I agree there it is similar to the FMA (abbreviated name of the Full Metal Alchemist the name) so much.
@TF2Fan101 Both clips i used and the credits songs are from "Fullmetal Alchemist" or "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood". The shows are pretty popular and I am a big fan. So when re-watching it, the fact that there is a door of truth and an alchemist reminded me of the show a lot.

You know...thinking about Fullmetal Alchemist...and since the monkey team were made by an alchemist...and they are half robot half monkey...would that make them some robotic form of chimeras??? o.O
@fizzucker I saw that! :P Your In Depth vids are hilarious! Are you going to make any Sgt Frog references when you do Brothers in Arms? It IS a team of frogs from space!
Excellent review. Personally I alway thought Mandarin was kind of a prototype of sorts to the other monkeys. Like maybe the Alchemist activated him first and then completed the others. Might explain why he is rather different in design ie having external weaponry instead of internal. Although I could be wrong. Can't wait for your Versus Chiro one :)
