Exact same thing happened to my brother. I thought it was ridiculous my parents kept it a "secret" from until he was like 18. I guess the doctor botched him though 😬 i don't see how it matters at all.. And why on earth would anyone wait until the kid is that old to get it corrected?! I don't get people.. I hate when ignorant ppl have kids and get to make choices about the lives of little ppl. They wreck those little lives before they even have a chance..

Well said. I have suffered from unreasonable choices both my parents made for me and even though they might have done their best, their decisions were still very selfish and have dire consequences that others have to pay....

What's wrong with you people who are making negative comments about correcting a defect. Like a cleft lip. Improves his life and his self esteem.
Some of y'all are just nasty

There’s no name to tie him to the video. He’ll be fine

They couldn’t blur out mom and sons face? I am glad they are sharing the story but we don’t need to know who they are.

    "Common"? It's very rare. 🤨

The fact that 20% of the time the surgery *doesn't* work as planned bothers me. Who knows what kind of issues will arise after puberty even in the "successful" surgeries? If it isn't medically necessary, no one should be operating on unconsenting children's genitalia.

but it is medically necessary- it can cause problems with urination which is dangerous.

    80% success??? Thats terrible statistics

I don’t see why a surgery is necessary. It’s not life or death and nobody is going to know unless you tell them

Wow😮 shouldn’t this stay within the family and instead of putting it out there for all to see! I think when that little boy grows up, he’s gonna be mortified!!! 😢😢😎
